“The pad thainoodle with shrimi was pretty good. I like that you can customize the heat level and I like it at a 4. However the meatball pho, the meatballs were a little dense and the broth didn't have that depth of flavor, it was missing roasted ginger, onion and star anise and a few dashes of fish sauce. But it was a good size bowl of noodles. I will most definitely go back to order the papaya salad and try their Tom yum soup or fried rices. The owner seemed very nice.“

This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. From their donation based coffee station to their pay it forward meals to their community meals at the end of the day when they have some extra ingredients, everyone is treated with respect and dignity. If you are craving anything on their menu, you won’t be disappointed. This is a must visit establishment when in the neighborhood.“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere“

“Even though I’ve lived somewhat close to Al's I never had a chance to try it until the end of last summer when I tried one of their tornados. I dreamt about another one throughout the whole winter until I was able to enjoy another one the other day now that they’re reopened for the season. HANDS DOWN the best ice cream treat you will get your hands on. Most icecream places seem to skimp on toppings/candy etc..NOT Al’s!!! They are LOADED and delicious and just as good the next day (if you can’t finish the day of lol). I will forever be hooked on Al’s!!! IMO, they’re the best ❤️“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

We were there before a theater show and told our server that we had to leave at a certain time but one of our small plates didn't make it out by the time we had to leave. We paid our bill and ran, but on the way back I thought I'm just going to stop in to see if they still had our food.
