“A Heartfelt Reflection on Professionalism & Respect I believe in supporting local establishments and building community wherever I go. When I walk into a space, I come with kindness, respect, and the intention to simply enjoy good company and a welcoming atmosphere. Recently, I’ve experienced a shift in service that left me feeling uncomfortable and dismissed. What once felt warm and inviting has become cold and unprofessional through eye-rolling, dismissive responses, and careless service. Respect should never depend on how often someone visits, who they are, or what they look like — professionalism is the standard, not the exception. As patrons, we notice the small things — tone, body language, and how we are treated when we walk through the door. Establishments should remember that every guest is observing, every interaction matters, and every moment reflects the character of the business. My hope is simple: that businesses remain mindful of how staff attitudes shape the entire experience. Because you never know who is sitting in your seats, and you never know who is quietly witnessing the level of professionalism being offered. Respect is remembered. Kindness is remembered. And so is the absence of both. let me add the food is delicious. I have no other reservations but for the one barmaid jess was my barmaid. February 7th time is 1:46 p.m.“

“Smelled amazing walking in. easy ordering, and friendly staff, Payton was really nice and welcoming. This was my first time here. My meal was absolutely delicious!!“

“First time visiting this brewery as we are always looking to explore places we haven't been to yet.
We saw Pittsburgh Smokehouse food truck was running a bacon and brisket special so that secured the deal for food and beverages.
Squatch is just 10 minutes or so from the heart of Monroeville located in an Industrial park.

The building itself was nice and we grabbed a seat at the bar upon arrival. There was also some additional covered seating outside of the garage door.

We sampled all of the beers and everything was very solid.

“I came in for a cup of ice and was curious of what drinks were available and their benefits. Jayna was extremely helpful n kind and walked me through taste tests of each juice and I believe I have found a fave don’t stop the beet and house mylk.( yes spelled that way). Thanks love fresh for a nice kick start to my mornings now“

“Always loved their lasagna but last time the layers were more meat or something..than ricotta. Very dark..not as good as always..did they change their recipe“

“Al's cone zone is the best! Their quality is great. The banana ice cream has actual bananas not just banana flavoring. Same with the strawberry ice cream and so on. I opt for the strawberry banana milkshake. Its soon good. Definitely a stand out ice cream spot from other places. That's why you always see a lot of people in the parking lot and in line. The lines go by quick tho!“

“Visited the Monaca location and was very impressed. Though they have a smaller variety in store than their Pittsburgh I felt there was plenty of variety to explore and try. The staff was attentive and listened to help me pick out 3 teas to try based on my ideal flavor profile then ensured I knew how to prepare each. An absolutely amazing experience!“

“My husband and I randomly stopped into Inner Groove Brewing on my birthday, and it ended up being perfect. The beer, the patrons, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. As a bonus, the Eventz by MK food truck was outside, making the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Had lunch today at Primos and WOW! The Ahbundogas soup 🍜 is the best we’ve ever had. Four large meatballs that alone taste 👅 flavorful. come with rice and portion was great. even a little to take home for later. definitely coming back!“

“Great space on the Allegheny River! Hard to get to and parking is questionable as they share a lot with kayak rentals but some street parking is available. Beer was very good however service was not, too few employees for the volume of people.“

“Best craft beer in pittsburgh. Definitely expect some ipa's like everywhere else but it is not the dominant force on the menu if you have ipa fatigue like me. You can get cask, nitro, sour, seasonals, wheat, stout, high abv low abv no abv. And also insanely good pizza whether you like plain cheese or the most bizarre concoction you could ever not think of that rotates weekly.“

I absolutely love that you can custom your “level” of matcha.
I got a level 2 - iced banana pudding matcha
It was so good! Perfect flavor of matcha to sweetener ratio!
We also got a level 2 iced strawberry oat matcha!
The fresh strawberry puree was wonderful!
Both were so good, I don’t think I could pick a favorite! Definitely looking forward to going back!“

“Was introduced to this place by another couple last night. Pretty neat experience. We didn’t do any of the escape rooms but definitely will come back to try. Great bartenders slanging drinks in a dark bar like it’s a real speak easy from prohibition. Definitely check this place out for a drink“

“It was to be a special occasion, my brother's and my birthday celebration. I searched hard for a deep-dish pizza in the area and drove from Monessen. The pizza we had today wasn't Deep dish as advertised; it was high-rise or thick crust. I wrote on the Facebook page's messenger and told them we will be there at what time and on what day for Deep-dish pizza. I was told they still have it. Are waiter never told us that their Deep Dish is a thick-crust pizza? The pizza was good; we didn't ask for a refund. We hope the restaurant will reword its pizza menu. It's just misleading me, and my brother would have gotten something different if it wasn't for Deep Dish. Besides that, the restaurant is amazing. I heard it was my first time there.“

“The best place for silcian pizza. You can get from 1 to 50+ slices any way you like. Made fresh in front of you. Excellent crust, tasty sauce. Toppings many to choose from. I have been going there over 30 years. Always quality.

“Stopped here in a Saturday afternoon and got the brisket and collard greens. Both were amazing! I would've liked it if they had a Caroline style barbecue sauce, but they only had St. Louis and a mustard sauce. I figure if that's your only complaint at a barbecue restaurant. It's not too bad!“

Spicy Chicken is one of my favorites, honestly if you like spice I would even ask to make it spicier, but the flavor is top tier! Also love their noodles, good portion sizes and everything is flavored nicely, one of my favorites in the area!“
