This is my favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh, easily, by a wide margin! Excellent espresso, fantastic beans which they roast in house I believe and an extremely welcoming and friendly staff. It is genuinely difficult to resist going there everyday!
Just visited Redhawk Coffee for the first time this weekend, and I'm a fan!They have a simple, streamlined menu - it includes your basic coffee drinks (made with beans they roast in-house, I believe), your basic syrups, and I heard them mention to my friend that they carry some local juice products as well. Redhawk in Sharpsburg is hands down, my favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh. I have been to many others in the city, and I have not found any other place with such consistently good espresso and friendly staff. The staff go above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed every time we visit. They gladly fill my reusable cup with any drink I order, sell us glass jars of milk to take home, and they even have some toys and books for kids to occupy themselves for a bit.
