“If you’re anywhere near Hopwood, do yourself a favor and stop by Pappy’s — this spot is the definition of comfort food done right! I went with the 4-piece fried chicken with mac and cheese, and let me tell you… 🔥 crispy, seasoned to perfection, and cooked just right. Every bite had that homemade, down-south flavor that hits different. The mac and cheese was creamy, rich, and paired perfectly with the chicken — no shortcuts here. My wife ordered the smoked bacon mac and cheeseburger, and wow… that thing was stacked! Juicy burger, smoky bacon, and that mac and cheese on top just took it to another level. It’s one of those meals you talk about long after you leave. You can tell this place takes pride in their food — everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Even though we were just visiting, this spot made a lasting impression. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Pappy’s is a must-stop if you’re craving real-deal comfort food! 🍗🍔💯“

“I had the chicken parmigiana last night and it was amazing !!! My husband had the prime rib and he said it was the best he ever had !!! The sweet and sour dressing on my side salad was delicious !!! Definitely will be a regular customer. They were able to accommodate a large group of us (12). Our server Stephanie was wonderful and attentive !!! The new owners introduced themselves and it was an amazing atmosphere full of people laughing and smiling. Great things are happening at Meloni’s.“

“The Village in Mount Pleasant has been our favorite restaurant for at least 25 years. When you arrive, you feel like you're in a LOCAL establishment, and the service confirms that feeling. We are vegetarian and never have an issue finding meat-free meals, and if we're not doing their wonderful pizzas, we go for the gnocchi or pasta dishes with marinara. YUM!! Drink and food prices are very reasonable, and the staff is mostly local family and friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“
