“We were passing through New Stanton, and had dinner at La Tavola. We sat at the bar, and had incredible service from Sandy, the bartender. The food was incredible. We had the artichoke appetizer, a Caesar salad, and the Veal Picatta and the special, which was a Swordfish with lump crabmeat. Also, the Crème Brûlée. All was incredible, and Chef Lou came out and chatted with us. A very special gem of a restaurant, which we would highly recommend!!“

“I have been going there for 30 plus years & most recently today for lunch. The food was a bit above average & the service in the bar area with Zackie was much less than to be expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Not sure if she hasn't been trained properly or just not cut out to be a server. As anyone that is a "Foodie" would know, great service can compensate for many short comings. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to know they cared enough for me to spend all that time for me. I went to look up to the Heavens and thank God, but I couldn't see a cloud in sight. You know that dang place had a roof on it? And not any normal roof, a roof without a hole in it? Well I forgot what happened next, but I woke up in a ditch, pulled out my phone and wrote this review. I'm not sure if it was real or some kind of dream, but if I can find my way back to the country, where all the people want to be nice to everyone(like everyone everyone should learn to be nice to each other) , I'd walk right back in. I love this place and it’s my personal favorite place to get Chinese food from. “The Village in Mount Pleasant has been our favorite restaurant for at least 25 years. When you arrive, you feel like you're in a LOCAL establishment, and the service confirms that feeling. We are vegetarian and never have an issue finding meat-free meals, and if we're not doing their wonderful pizzas, we go for the gnocchi or pasta dishes with marinara. YUM!! Drink and food prices are very reasonable, and the staff is mostly local family and friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

Unfortunately for the restaurant they were understaffed, and customers were being awfully rude about it. Shame people have to act that way. I thought the staff worked together very well and did the best they could considering the volume of people.“

“Awesome Denny's I go there early morning when they open at 6:00 sometimes but also go on the weekends. It's clean the bathrooms are clean the food is absolutely outstanding I'll go there for breakfast and it's always good I never have a problem with anything there and again the servers are awesome and they're the ones that make it what it is a great place to eat breakfast for sure. I will frequently go back there as I always do. And by the way they're the only breakfast place that opens at 6:00 in the morning.“
