“It's a diner, so that's how I'm rating the food and atmosphere. Both are great, but obviously this isn't about being fancy.I expect diner food to be somewhere between passable and good; putting it was really good and there was plenty to eat. I hate till I was stuffed and my friend took food home.I'm vegetarian/vegan , so I had the tofu scramble. This was definitely solid. There was lots of tofu so I got my protein for the morning and a good variety of vegetables; I appreciate it tofu scramble that has some greens in it like spinach. I had Fried potatoes so that I would be able to try the house-made ketchup and it was excellent. I wish more restaurants would do this. It makes eating at different places so much more interesting. If you're down for diner eating, this is definitely one of the best if not the best place to go in Philly.Vegetarian options: Sure, it's a diner. If you want eggs or tofu, you're in luck. If your vegan, it's much more restricted.“
“Large and varied menu. Good soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as breakfast items and Italian entrees. Good value and large portions. Pete himself is often present and cooking.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible via a ramp off of Fairmount.“
“What can I say that hasn’t already been said in these reviews? Here’s a hint: NOTHING. Believe the hype, Bob's Diner is the real deal. Just get there early if you want a parking spot out front lol. Street parking is available but I planned my arrival accordingly! Recommended 10/10!“
“When I die, I want my funeral luncheon to be crammed into Muffins, with me propped up in a corner of the back booth, with a Western omelet, hash browns, an order of bacon (or some scrapple), and fresh, hot coffee in front of me. My wife and i have eaten in many, many diners and restaurants, but Muffins is the absolute best. Fresh food, reasonable prices, very clean and a staff that actually cares about you and what they're doing. Magnificent!“
“Great local family-owned restaurant. We had a large party of 12. We were surprised they had no problem sitting us immediately.Standard, hearty diner food. Fresh, hot and good. It seemed like we had hardly finished ordering and the food started arriving. Extremely fast!Highly recommend this spot as a go-to for breakfast. And they were flexible, willing to serve anything on the menu at 8:30 AM. Who eats wings for breakfast? This guy!Eat here! You won’t regret itParking: Difficult intersection but parking on both sides of the diner.“
“This diner has always been my go-to diner in Upper Darby. The food portions are big and delicious for the money. Let's not let these gems of our community fade. All the new places out there cut corners and don't have the hand-me-down recipes. Keep it up LD. Would love some Halal options.“
“This place is a diner-lover’s diner. A basic menu but done very well. My hero (I can’t bring myself to say hoagie) was excellent and my wife raved about her burger and we were all wowed by our son’s grilled cheese. Again, nothing fancy but cooked to perfection. Bravo to the cook.“
“Every time I come here the staff are always nice and attentive. When it comes to the food, they have the best tasting breakfast menu in the area. I love pancakes and most places make them so thick that they soak up all the syrup, not this restaurant! This local eatery’s pancakes never disappoint so don’t hesitate to order a stack. When you visit this place you will get good food, great service and a warm welcome.“
“City Line Diner exceeded my expectations in every way. From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the exceptional service, every aspect of my dining experience was top-notch. The menu offered a delightful array of options, and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and ensured that every need was met. I highly recommend City Line Diner for anyone seeking a fantastic diner.“
“Champs is always a good stop for any good breakfast/lunch options. I've gotten their philly steak Dankwich, which at first didn't really love love, but the last times it's been amazing! Can specifically say their red velvet pancakes are the perfect sweet treat. Amazing customer service, you can tell people love this place and what they do (I wish I caught the guy's name, but he's always super helpful with any delivery orders and is absolutely hilarious!). It's not an eat-in restaurant, and the waiting area is pretty small but luckily you won't be there for very long because everything is pretty quick. Cecil B Moore is lucky to have Champs!“
“My favorite little place near Abington! Delicious food with great prices to match it! Never had a bad experience with any of the servers here. The older gentleman who takes payments is very nice whenever I come in. All food is good, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner! Usually takes me longer to figure out what I want because it's all so good!Kid-friendliness: Brought my four year old cousin here and there were absolutely no problems! They were very nice to him and offered to have his food come out first“
“I never knew this was here till now ! It’s so cute inside the staff are so friendly! I got the Italian French toast and the first bite it reminded me of my grandmothers French toast it brought back memories! Get it with cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar ! Definitely will return! It is cash only so you know ! The phone !!! That’s so cool !!!! I loved it so much I brought my husband and Danielle is fantastic! I love the homie feel !“
“Super great staff! Came in here 2 days in a row with my team, we are on a spring break trip in Philly. We came in they treated us with respect and patience despite there being 12 of us. The second day we came back they already had our table ready, and were very poignant with our food. Highly recommend this place for great breakfast food!“
“I thought the service was a little slow considered it was slow it wasn't many people in the restaurant but other than that it was pretty decent the burger was supposed to be 10 oz I highly doubt if it was a 10 oz. I would definitely go back again hope for a better“
