“Ordered the hot buffet for 15 people 2 weeks before the event. Always have more than enough food. Quality is always good. I would say that we did get the wraps and the roast beef was a bit fatty, but everything else was great. Always love going to this place for catering a larger party.“

“OMG I was walking by this restaurant and smelled the good food. I had to stop in. I ordered the curry chicken dinner, yams and collard greens and rice and beans . Amazing is an understatement . “The only critique I would have is that they need a better roll for the steak sandwich and it needs to be gutted. Now saying that I prefer the texture on the outside of the role to be different than the inside of the role. The roll feels like I’m eating white bread with seeds. But other than that, everything is delicious. I do not want to discourage you from getting the cheesesteak because it’s so good. I’ve had it several times! Like I said just prefer a different roll. The owner is very personable and besides the food bringing you back, you want to go back because of the owner.“

“The chef's smile made my day and they had an excellent menu at fair prices. The chef absolutely deserves his own restaurant; never thought I would get food made with love from a gas station. The only drawback was watching a random broken man blow his pension on a slot machine while we waited for our food. Regardless, would 110% recommend that you go at least once“

“We purchased FRIED CHICKEN WINGS and they are some of the best I've had in decades! Although the wings are not huge, the average size is on the small/medium side. They are cooked when ordered so they were HOT! The coating is crisp and firm and the chicken is FRESH and seasoned deliciously without needing to add any additional seasoning, not too salty. It's in the hood, so it's a no frills tight space, no seating/standing room only. Nice surprise tho!“

“The mofongo and the empanadas are delicious. I have been going there at least once a week and get the ripe plantain mofongo with chicharron mixed in. You can then add shrimp, fried pork, sausage, pork chops, fried chicken, fried cheese or steak. You get an large portion of the mofongo and a large portion of whatever you add as the side. The empanadas are warm and flaky. I also tried the fried sweet plantains but unfortunately they were not so sweet, but I think they didn't have ripe enough plantains at the time. I will give them a second chance with the fries sweet plantains. The service has been really nice and they are very friendly. For the amount of food you get, prices are acceptable.“
