I would normally give it a 5 star. My husband and I eat there frequently and did takeout when it was closed. Food was always excellent. Never any complaints. But we went there yesterday for fish. It was not up to Armstrong standards. Very dry. Breading hard. No taste. We did not eat most of it. The waitress asked if we wanted to take it home. We said no and told her why. Great food. Features Italian standards, great calzones, Pittsburgh style salads and sandwiches. This is one of the spots we have to hit when we come back to the area. There’s usually a wait around dinner. You can phone ahead to get your name on the list.
The best italian food anywhere and im from eastern pittsburgh area with many family italian restaurants. Outstanding waitress despite being very busy. Portions are very large! Great value! Close to pittsburgh airport.
