“I'm not too sure why all the bad reviews. I'm new to the area for work and I keep passing this place. Today I decided to go in and check it out. A guy and gal greated me when I walked in. I grabbed a menue and placed my order. Yes, a little pricey I noticed. 13 wings for $21 and add $2 for all flats. I had lemon pepper parm. They were good. I'm going to justify their pricing as follows- they're the only food place on this end of the area, the wings were large and meaty, wings were hot and because they r the only place around well they can just charge what they do. Oh...most importantly they only take cash! Cash and carry only! Overall, I will be going back. There r a few other items I want to try. Cheers!“

“Went for a late dinner after the Heidelberg October fest with my fiancé and 5 year old for the first time since the expansion. I had high expectations because we have had take out multiple times and have been pleased. We were not disappointed! We had a hot dog, Cuban sandwich, torts with salsa (AMAZING as always), tater tots and the soup special. Everything was great but the pumpkin/corn harvest chowder was phenomenal, the complexity and layers of flavors was out of this world. I am not easily impressed so I was blown away by our meal. Our server/bartender was great and went out of his way to ensure we had a stellar experience. We will be back again soon!“

“This was my first time going here to eat ?. The menu has a alot of options for your appetite ?. It took me at least 2 times to really decide what to eat with out changing my mind. When I finally decided, the food was hot, fresh, seasoned. I wanted to get more but they were about to wrap and close .lol So next time I come to your restaurant I will make sure to order 2 orders of the STEAK ROLLS with blue cheese dressing. Yummmmmm. “Most places (even if they're fancy restaurants) put blinders on when they get slammed. Not this place. It's the ONLY Burger King between harmerville&Beaver Falls that actually apologizes (even if it is noon and peak lunch time) for your wait and half the time will toss in free cookies for your inconvenience. They're awesome and I've never yet had stale food from this particular burger King. The staff is super friendly and the mgr is as well. He even somehow got really great young employees working for him and being a former store manager that is very challenging.

Vegetarian options: Impossible burger available. Which is awesome. I wish McDonald's would do plant based something. Come on McDonald's...get with 2024!“

“Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food. We left just as the band was setting up. Would definitely go back again.“

“I’m a big fan of Five Guys! Ordered online for pickup at this location and it was as expected. My order was correct and was ready when I got there and still hot. I like the fact that Five Guys offers a lettuce wrap option, that’s my go to there. I’ll be back.“

“I've been ordering from Big Shot Bob's in Avalon for over ten years. They're the best in the Burgh. They opened on New Year's Day to provide fresh delicious wings. Pre-ordering wings for New Year's Day was a breeze and the service is very friendly. I was able to call and make a change to a pick up order with ease.

My all time favorite all Old Bay Wet. What's pictured, Black and Gold, Garlic Ranch Wet and Big Shot Bob's Signature.

“Great food at a great price“

“Our family of 5 were on our way to Applebee's for lunch today. Unfortunately, we were in a car accident at the main intersection before the restaurant. Another car had hit us, leaving our car disabled. While everyone involved was okay, our lunch plans were obviously changed. While waiting for the tow trucks and clean up, 2 of my children and myself needed to use the restroom. We walked into the restaurant and asked to use the bathroom, explaining the situation, and the server we interacted with was beyond amazing. (I'm sorry I didnt get her name. We were rather shaken up.) She told us of course we could use the restrooms and asked if we were okay and if we needed anything else. She and a manager on duty checked on us one more time before we left, sending us out with water and the invitation to come back if we needed anything. As if we needed another reason to love this restaurant, they were so extremely sweet to us even when we weren't paying customers. They were just good humans. We never did get our Applebee's lunch today, but will definitely be back for our lunches and to thank them again for the generosity and compassion. ❤️❤️“
