“Went for a late dinner after the Heidelberg October fest with my fiancé and 5 year old for the first time since the expansion. I had high expectations because we have had take out multiple times and have been pleased. We were not disappointed! We had a hot dog, Cuban sandwich, torts with salsa (AMAZING as always), tater tots and the soup special. Everything was great but the pumpkin/corn harvest chowder was phenomenal, the complexity and layers of flavors was out of this world. I am not easily impressed so I was blown away by our meal. Our server/bartender was great and went out of his way to ensure we had a stellar experience. We will be back again soon!“

There was a stressed out mom with 3 uncooperative kids directly behind us and Destiny stayed very professional and heloed how ever she could. As a mom in those moments kidness goes a long way. “Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food. We left just as the band was setting up. Would definitely go back again.“

“Most places (even if they're fancy restaurants) put blinders on when they get slammed. Not this place. It's the ONLY Burger King between harmerville&Beaver Falls that actually apologizes (even if it is noon and peak lunch time) for your wait and half the time will toss in free cookies for your inconvenience. They're awesome and I've never yet had stale food from this particular burger King. The staff is super friendly and the mgr is as well. He even somehow got really great young employees working for him and being a former store manager that is very challenging.

Vegetarian options: Impossible burger available. Which is awesome. I wish McDonald's would do plant based something. Come on McDonald's...get with 2024!“

We had a newborn in the parking lot and had eaten out food in the car, so we were parked outside for a while (our baby then had thrown up so we were outside of the car cleaning up and such) and because of that a staff member came out and asked if we were okay which was really nice!“

“I've been ordering from Big Shot Bob's in Avalon for over ten years. They're the best in the Burgh. They opened on New Year's Day to provide fresh delicious wings. Pre-ordering wings for New Year's Day was a breeze and the service is very friendly. I was able to call and make a change to a pick up order with ease.

“Wonderful atmosphere, workers and guests. Went for the .50 wings that were out of this world, crispy and seasoned well. 4 different flavors: ranch, mild buffalo, Emsworth sauce and hot barbecue. So yummy. Darrell the owner, came over to check on us a few times and was very kind and talkative. Ice cream sandwich was crazy good.
