“I’m from Oklahoma and I’m visiting Pittsburgh for work. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is hands down the best breakfast place I’ve ever eaten at. And we travel a lot.
Everything tasted homemade, and even the butter was incredible. I’d honestly say it was better than Texas Roadhouse butter. I ordered the Imperial Platter with my eggs over easy. I’m usually skeptical when ordering over easy eggs because they’re often undercooked, but these were absolutely perfect. And don’t even get me started on the pancakes and toast. they were the best I’ve ever had.
The service was exceptional. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and the whole restaurant has that classic small town, mom and pop diner feel that makes you feel right at home.
If I’m ever back in Pittsburgh, I’ll come back just to eat here again. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!“

“I recommend this restaurant for any day of the week sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays. It gets a little bit busy but they take you so fast. Food is just so delicious and it’s not that they rushed the food out. The cooks are just so great that they can handle everyone coming in. I’ve had to wait maybe 10 minutes on a Sunday because of church But I highly recommend it to people are so friendly there and like I said they’re fast and delicious. Please try it you really will miss something if you don’t.“

“Great food at a great price! They have a nice selection of both breakfast and lunch options, so there’s something for everyone. The food is always good, and you get a great value for what you pay.
I also really enjoy the old-school diner atmosphere. It has that classic, cozy feel that makes it a great place to grab a meal and relax. Definitely a nice local spot if you’re looking for good food without spending a lot!“

“This place is awesome, met a co-worker there for brunch today and had one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. Everyone was super friendly, food was delicious, thick cut bacon was chefs kiss. Prices were incredibly reasonable. I will definitely be adding them to my list of places!!“

“I can’t say enough good stuff about Totin’s Diner — but that won’t stop me from trying.
It is perfect in every way. We are lucky enough to live nearby and frequent it often. The rare unanimous vote, when polling the family for eating out! There’s always something on the TV to entertain the kids. But once you pry your eyes off the TV, you realize you are in an idyllic diner; one you would be forgiven for erroneously believing only existed in an episode of Mr Rogers Neighborhood. Charming, understated, authentic. Food so good, and portions so large, that you endeavor to never leave a bite behind. Cozy enough to make you feel like the only customer, yet busy enough to never disappoint an avid people watcher. In all these ways unscathed by the enshittification that has subsumed both fast food chains and mom & pop diners alike in recent years. With the ironic twist being — all this ink has been spilt and I haven’t even tried breakfast yet! Good things await I am sure. And that’s the feeling I have every time I step foot in Totin’s — good things await!“

“Hands down the best breakfast we have ever had. Seafood omelet and steel city breakfast delicious! Portions are large, had enough to bring some home. Husband had a banana split and said it it one of the best he’s eaten. Our waitress was so nice. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience! We will definitely return when in the area.“

“Excellent service, all of the staff are wonderful people that care about your day and the quality of your food; The atmosphere is like stepping into a 70's or early 80's diner, and it is always clean. The soap, toilet paper and paper towels are always stocked in the restroom, and the toilet and sink are spotless. I've never seen so much as a speck of dust, dirt, or any fruit flies anywhere. They treat their customers and staff extremely well. All of the food is amazing, and they serve the perfect cup of coffee each day.“

“If you like a hometown, locally owned restaurant feel, this is a great place to visit. It has a bit of a Rustic / Grandma's kitchen vibe. Food is excellent! Omelettes are in my opinion stellar, with the proper amount of all ingredients. Bacon is awesome, thin and crispy, just how I like it! Pancakes are also excellent and super tasty. Overeasy eggs are also cooked perfectly. Carry and Barb are 2 of the best breakfast chefs I have had out, period.. As of 2023 I'm 50 years old so have had breakfast a ton of places locally and nationally. I live about 3 miles away from the restaurant location so since I discovered it I try to stop once or twice a week. Definitely one of Pittsburgh's hidden local neighborhood gems. It is one of those small local places where if you know how good it is, you KNOW, and remember....“

“Love their new menu! The flavors and freshness make dining there a great place for family and friends. We never have to wait and service is fast. We have been going for 10 years. Only complaint is I wish they had other coffee options. Many food options. I always leave full.“

“Rude worker, refused service. we was there at 11:25 June 3rd, as we walked thru the first door we was stopped by a rude women yelling how they close at midnight and their kitchen closes at 1120pm. no signs posted anywhere, open sign was still on, people was inside eating, I asked for the store manager number she replied she was but refused her name, the replied they are franchise owned and she sleeps with the owner so she can close without notice anytime she wants. and she claimed the 1120 time was posted on the doors which it wasn't. dennys needs to review this location and pull there name from the owner. I've ate at dennys all over the country and never have seen a dennys not open 24hrs and sure never seen one with this poor of management.“

“Went to breakfast this morning had the homemade corned beef hash breakfast. It was amazing! Ment the owner, sat next to one of the workers parents & another young man named Luke. I was with my cousin Mark Ross who knew the young man who was an OLSH Alum, & coincidentally one of the parents of the worker was also an OLSH Alum. My son is an OLSH Alum so we all sat, ate, and talked for about an hour and a half. The owner was cousins with the young man and Mark also knows the owner. We had a great breakfast, great conversation, and great service! I will definitely be going back. If you’re in Moon Twp you should definitely dine here. Prices are also not bad at all. Highly Recommended!“
