Great place to have a brewery! This will be our go to bar after work.

First time there tonight. Very cool vibe I got the crab cakes, my brother got a pizza. I don’t drink, but my he got one of their beers , absolutely loved it. excellent service, food, prices and cool vibes. . I forget the names of the bartender and the waitress, but they were both outstanding.additional note: I use a power wheelchair full-time and unlike most places, there is a lot of room to get around in there and the tables are spaced far enough that you’re not running into someone with your wheelchair. I know most people don’t look for things like that but I do and those are the places that I will continue to return to

Had a great time at Recon for the Packers v Steelers game this weekend, Parker took great care of us! For sure recommend a flight and cheese curds and pizza!

Sign on door says kitchen closes at 6:30. Told at 6:05 that we could not order food because the kitchen was closed.

Hey, I went there with my wife and it was a nice place, but the food 2/10 unseasoned chicken and dry, pizza 2/10 not crispy, not good cheeses. Beer 4/10. I don’t know I have my expectations low but this place definitely did not beat them at all. Just the fact that you have a great spot doesn’t mean that your going to give up to make an effort with the food

Honestly. Good beer. Absolutely awful food. The cheese wasn’t melted on a buffalo chicken wrap. The Mac n cheese tasted like box store bought. And my quesadilla didn’t even hold its shape. Mediocre place, then again, these people in PA don’t know good food. Go GIANTS

I have been to Recon quite a few times because we meet up with mug club members that we know. The beer is great and the food is average. What used to be great was the service. Even when they were busy the servers were on point. On our last few visits, and the most recent one in particular, the servers seem like they are doing you a favor. Sit down, 10 minutes to order a beer. Another 10 minutes to get it. Want to order food, flag them down but they will spend a few more minutes finishing their conversation with other servers before coming to your table. They aren’t busy with anything other than socializing with each other at the server station that we were sitting about 8 feet away from. Also, I know this is a brewery but it would be nice if they had at least one red and white wine. This place has dropped off and it shows.

I appreciate the quick response from Recon. In relation to the wine, a guest in my party has tried on two occasions to order Chardonnay and was told you don’t have it. Maybe it’s not kept in stock?

Gideon at Recon Bar is absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcomed and taken care of. His attention to detail, friendly attitude, and genuine professionalism made the entire experience so much better. He was quick, attentive without being overbearing, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. You can tell he cares about his guests and enjoys what he does. Highly recommend asking for Gideon when you visit—his service is top-notch! We’ll definitely be back.
