Our server and hostess did everything possible to make our experience welcoming and to our specifications. This restaurant never disappoints!”

I ordered the biscuits and gravy and I’m still questioning how something so simple could taste so life-changing. I’ve had my fair share over the years, but this? This was next level. Like, “start-a-fan-club” good. The real MVP, though? Kelly, our server! She was an absolute rockstar—super friendly, quick with the coffee, and treated our 4-year-old daughter like royalty. Seriously, my daughter is now convinced she’s famous. “Never had an elk burger before and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I am normally very picky about my burgers and I really only like my own. This burger was very tender and seasoned absolutely perfectly. I just got basic lettuce, tomato, onion and they offered a herb aioli so I got that over plain mayo. Fries are very good and I tried the turkey burnt ends appetizer that tasted very good as well. Wife got a chicken salad and was very pleased with it. She also tried their coffee that they roast themselves fresh daily and she said it was one of the better coffees she has had. Will definitely be going back and telling friends about this place.”

“Stopped at the Home Tavern while traveling back to Michigan from NY. We love stopping at smaller restaurants instead of the large chain restaurants. Had a great lunch and the place was just what we were looking for. Highly recommend the place and it was just a short distance off the main highway. I highly recommend this place for first class entertainment. Any review lower than a 5 obviously doesn’t have any taste in the finer things in life!
