You are selling Mylar balloons 5 days ahead of the superbowl. Mylar balloons last at least several days. I bought 4 balloons yesterday, Thursday 2/7 for $5.99/balloon. One is defective. I just came back to the store to exchange and your “service” person told me too bad, he can’t exchange it as they are not guaranteed. Tell me why you store is filled with balloons today and yesterday and even earlier if that is the mentality. We all know the purpose you are selling these is for Sunday. The balloons should last. The fact that your “customer service” was sorry can’t help you with a simple exchange is ridiculous!!

Went into the Downingtown store yesterday to place an order for a half a sheet cake. Those working and meals to go were very nice however they went to the bakery department to get information and when they came back they told me I was able to use an invitation on the top of my cake. They specifically went to the bakery to confirm that it was allowed. When I got home I received an email telling me that that information was incorrect and they were not able to use the invitation as a photo. They apologized and told me that they were giving me a gift card for my trouble. I just went down to pick up the cake and found out the gift card was simply for the $10 that I paid extra to have a photo placed on top of the cake. In trying to rectify the fact that I couldn’t use the photo I dictated a message I wanted on the cake. Whoever decorated the cake decided to capitalize some words and not others. Extremely dissatisfied. No more cakes from Wegman’s. Get your stories straight!

The more you have to go to replace the outdated item, the more you are inclined to buy more items. The dairy is the worst with this, especially milk products.

Their customer service is lousy these days too. We purchased corn in the cob on Wednesday of this week and when we opened it and turned it over, it was full of mold. We bought 3 packages and no longer had the receipt which wouldn't have mattered in the past because they would look it up for you. Well, not any more!!!!! Another money making lousy scheme of theirs. No receipt, no return and more money for them. Fortunately I found the receipt so they WILL be going back tomorrow. Not to mention the whole entire display of corn had a ton of flies on them.
When they opened they had everything in most departments and since they've been opened and has a ton of followers, they've become like any other grocery store and nothing over the top or outstanding and not nearly as many specialty products. This happened long before the pandemic so that is not the excuse.
They also move things around CONSTANTLY which makes it extremely difficult to shop, especially if your time frame is limited. In speaking with a person who was working there he admitted that it was due to marketing. The more you have to waste time looking for something, the more items you see and throw into your cart. I guess they don't have enough money, huh? Maybe they should stop opening so many stores and concentrate on a few but then again they wouldn't make enough of their many millions of dollars from multiple stores!!! They don't care about their customers, only their pocketbooks!!!

Tried to return some fruits and veggies that were supposed to be “fresh cut in store” worth more than $80 and were sold beyond the expiration date, they didn’t accept the return “cause the receipt was missing”, although all have Wegman’s price labels. The manager was even worst than the customer service employee, saying “we can’t accept the return cause we would have to trash them” for items that should have been trashed immediately the day of expiration. So sad, will never return to this store.

When the hot food bar is $13.99 a pound that's ridiculous! Think about it for a second if you buy 2 lb of food which a lot of the food on the hot bar is very heavy you're paying $28 for a 2 lb package of food that isn't even made to order? you can go to a restaurant and get made to order food for two for less than that. You need to revisit those pricings.
