It’s a bit hit or miss. When it’s good, it’s really good — one of the guys makes an outstanding pizza that’s easily 5 stars. But other times, it falls far short of true Neapolitan standards. The crust can be dense and doughy, lacking the airy texture you’d expect, and the shape can be inconsistent.

It really seems to depend on who’s making it at the time.

Overall, it’s a bit of a gamble — you might get an amazing pizza (if Rob makes it), or something that doesn’t quite live up to what Neapolitan pizza should be.

There are no words to describe this pizza. True Neopolitan pizza. I’m an absolute pizza SNOB and this place is top three for me. The tomatoes are unreal. Dough is delicious and the cheese is so fresh. Minimal shop- maximum effect. Secret gem of Doylestown!! Side note: you MUST eat there. This pizza does not travel well.

This is the BEST pizza I’ve eaten in the USA or Europe. This man knows how to make the perfect crust. Thin and light but crispy and chewy. Delicious toppings. I get the white 4 cheese and it’s so delectable with yummy bits of Gorgonzola and really fresh and creamy ricotta. My husband loves the margarita and the pepperoni. The pepperoni is perfectly crispy and not overly greasy. The wood fired oven flavor cannot be beat but his CRUST is to die for. The only downside is there aren’t many tables and it’s an open arcade area which gets really cold in the winter. But I swear I’d sit on the ground if I had to because the pizza is that good!

I was there again last night and the pizza was as amazing as usual. I was just in Italy for 2 weeks and had a lot of Neapolitan pizza over there. The one at Spuntino is just as good. A little corner of Italy in Doylestown.
