“We just discovered this place after dining in Chestnut Hill for over 7 years. We could not be more in love. Incredible sandwiches. Such a laidback, cozy vibe. It’s clear that it’s a local favorite when you walk in. The kindest people work there. You feel like you step into a friend’s house & you get to have an incredible sandwich while you’re there. No seasoning on the pizza and the tomato sauce a little sweet. However, it is cooked perfectly with no burnt marks. Noticed they had Miller Light cans for $3.00. The pizza cost $10.00, which is good value.“

“Driving from Broomall to Philadelphia. Finding Scoogis was kismet! Following my guy I pulled and thought “eh, why not”. Greeted my the gem of a human that is Sophia. Scoogis is everything you want in a dining experience. Great energy in the dining rooms, high-quality service, atmosphere, great menu, great desert. I thought you opened early but see your hours start at 5pm. I have a girlfriend that wants to celebrate her birthday there November 2, 2024, so I plan to call and make arrangements for us to celebrate there this Saturday. I give this restaurant a five plus.“

Parking: Like I mentioned, this is a local spot, and most folks just walk since they live nearby. I usually get lucky and find parking close by, but I try not to take parking from the residents, so parking a couple of blocks away won't hurt me!“

Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“

“My husband and I just tried The Iron Oven for the first time. It will definitely not be our last. We went for brunch and enjoyed everything we ordered down to my Drinks. Very reasonable prices and good size portions. The staff is very friendly and sweet. Our waitress Gianna was wonderful and she alone would have had us returning.
