“Had a great time at this restaurant I take my friend out for birthday dinner. The food was excellent. We had such a wonderful time I shall be returning.“

“We had not been to the Jarrettown on a weekend evening in a very long time. I had forgotten about the live music. The music talent situated in the bar area was terrific. He performed music from the 60s to current melodies. Our busgirl was very polite and pleasant and ensured that we always had water. She even boxed our leftovers for us which was really appreciated. Our entire meal was delicious. The cream of mushroom soup with pancetta was extraordinary. Our entrees-the salmon and the Jarrettown chicken-looked as if they came from a culinary magazine. The beautiful appearances of these two dishes were equally matched by how great that they tasted....out of this world. In addition the entrees arrived at the appropriate temperatures which is really important to us. We capped the meal off with with raisin bread pudding with vanilla ice cream.“

“Jaeda the Bartender doesn't just give amazing service, she's also a certified Grizzly Bear Black Belt. Picture this: I'm leaving Panico's late one night, and i hear a strange growling noise. At first i was worried it may be my stomach, but then i recalled the decadent fries ala cheese Jaeda had made promptly and served me with good cheer. Alas, it twas not my intestinal dilemma, but a full grown King of the Forest! Eight terrifying feet of Ursa Major bearing down on me. All puns intended. Just as i thought i would finally learned the fabled mystery of where the bear defecates in the woods, who should appear across the threshold of Panicos entrance, but Jaeda, with twin Katana blades at the ready. Tonya Harding would be jealous of the grace and elegance of her as she sliced through the air and guts of the furry invader. After leaving the battered carcass of the bear strewn thither, she came back to me, covered in blood and bear feces. I was glad, for i was covered in my own, and soiled mine undergarments quite profusely. Jaeda offered me basketball shorts that are 2 sizes to big, and a Bird's Jersey, as is the custom of the region, and walked me safely to my chariot. Definitely try the cheesesteak!“

“A home away from home for Commanders fans living in Philadelphia. Old Bay is featured heavily on the menu, as it should be. They easily accommodated our walk in party of 14 and put up with us playing "Hail To The Redskins" on the jukebox repeatedly.

“I had my rehearsal dinner at the Daisy Tavern back in May. When I first booked the dinner, the Daisy Tavern was still on the newer side and working out the details of private events. I definitely took a small risk booking and was a little nervous but wow did I make a great decision. Every single detail was well executed and so thoughtful. Melissa was very responsive via email. Our server was attentive and so kind. We had a guest with Celiac disease and the staff was very helpful in accommodating her. Our guests were so impressed and loved the dinner. It really set the tone for the best weekend ever. I could not recommend them enough.“

The staff is very friendly. They do get bombarded with volume at times but they are fast, manage it well and still manage to smile.

Great place to watch sports. Many big TVs considering size of the restaurant.

Good draft selection and take out options. Also reasonably priced.

Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. “I had a burger delivered and it was so good! It was a nice medium rare and had fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. It was very juicy and the bun didn’t collapse to the liquid. It was also still hot and delicious after the delivery. The bacon wasn’t thin flimsy bacon either it was a nice thickness and had good flavor. The times that I have been to Murphy’s in person the waiters were very nice and it was an excellent enjoyable time. Overall a very nice place, I would go again soon.“
