“So, the other night it was far too hot to cook, so I decided to stop at China One on my way home. As usual, the food was great, but thats not why I'm writing this.At about 9:30, I started to hear a knocking on my apartment door. I check the peep hole, and see an older Asian man standing there.I open the door, and ask if I can help him. Turns out he was one of the workers at China one, and he found my wallet on the table I was sitting at while I was waiting. He went out of his way to check my ID, and bring it to me.I can't put into words how grateful I am for them. The food is good, of course, but that kind of service is phenomenal. They truly went above and beyond.“

“Tuesday Feb 27th, 2024, Our first time at this buffet, 4:30pm, the hubby and I, the place was clean, ladies restroom was clean, even with a language barrier, our server was nice and attentive, and cleared our finished plates quickly, checked for drink refills and brought extra napkins, the food was very good, a lot of various foods, Chinese & American, and a plentiful dessert bar too, the hibachi grill was open so I made a plate for the cook to grill, that was also very good.. The hot buffet foods were well heated, the cold areas, cold and iced, everything was fresh and tastey, nothing looked old or dried out, we both ate our fill and 5 hours later, NO signs of food poisoning as others have claimed in reviews. We would recommend this restaurant for sure and will be definitely be going back when we're craving Chinese food. 😋 We're an older couple and I waitressed for 15+ years, we've dined at some pretty good places and some pretty bad places, but truthfully speaking, we can't find anything negative to say. The only downside is, most Chinese Restaurants or any restaurant in general, you pay after you're done and ready to leave.. Here you pay upfront just like it was when it was a Bonnaza years ago. Accepts all the major credit cards, cash, NO checks as per the sign. Paying ahead, and putting the tip on before even being seated, that is limiting how much we want to tip our server when we could tip more after our meal based on the service we receive vs leaving a 'general' tip amount. I would strongly suggest they change that, I'm sure the servers would appreciate that, and customers who tip based on server quality would like it too, we live in a 'card' world and most ppl don't carry cash, so these servers are stuck with either no tip or a general/minimal when paying up front. That's the only thing I'd change..“

“This is simply the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. The food is unlike any other place around. I've watched the chef butcher a whole chicken in the kitchen before cooking and serving it. This food is fresh and it is delicious. The service is excellent. They have never messed up my order in the 10 years that I've been eating there. The quality is consistent time and time again. Most people order takeout, but to truly appreciate how good this food is, I think it should be eaten fresh, right in the restaurant whenever possible. The prices are fair, the service is great, and the food is better. This place is simply the best.“
