“I can not thank this Bakery enough for saving my son's birthday dinner. We are traveling and due to an unexpected reschedule, the cake I had ordered was now in a city 2 hours away. I phoned them with 3 HOUR NOTICE, asking to text them as my son was in the vehicle. WITHOUT HESITATION he obliged and had a cake ready for my son in 2.5 HOURS with a semi custom request. The kindness of this bakery is above and beyond and why I only support small businesses. Without their kindness, my son's birthday dinner would have been a disappointment, as all he asked for while on vacation for his birthday was a hamburger and Minecraft cake. I hope all who read this review will share my experience and support them with all of your bakery needs ❤️“

“I was recently in the bakery and did not realize that my credit cards and driver’s license fell out of my purse. Either the owner or an employee drove them to my house!!! Restores your faith in humanity!! What a great gesture! Thank you again! PS…. The bread is fantastic!“

“We had one evening in Scranton, and I was the one grabbing sweets for our groups dietary restrictions. I called Donna and asked if she would be able to accommodate. She went above and beyond! The GF-Vegan Cupcakes I ordered were waiting in a box for me, and she was so patient since we came right at closing time. Her flavors were DIVINE! The love and care that went in to our treats was something special! I love pretty food, but what a win when the food tastes better than it looks! Thank you Donna! Everyone, not just the dietary folks, were in love with your food! If we are in the Scranton area again, we’ll be sure to order again!!“

“Dana is truly the queen of desserts. I had the opportunity to have two cakes made by her—both the same flavor—for my baby showers, and they were absolutely delicious. It’s very hard to find a baker willing to make a cake with passion fruit filling, and hers turned out amazing. Everyone at both baby showers was talking about how delicious and beautiful the cakes were. I’m very happy with my choice. “I'm from Staten Island N.Y., and I'm 56 years old. My wife and I moved to Old Forge Pennsylvania on Monday October 16th, 2023.
I've been a milk route truck driver, a Sanitation worker for NYC, and a Commercial Sanitation Route driver; I had many Straight Truck, Air Brakes, CDL Driving jobs ew my life including dump trucks. I KNOW NYC.
I had apartments in Brooklyn as well as Staten Island. I worked in every Borough including Yonkers, Westchester County, and many parts of New Jersey, where I also had quite a few apartments over the years.
My point?
Being Italian/American and submerged in the heritages culture, I'm VERY familiar with GENUINELY AUTHENTIC Italian Breads; and BOTH the right and wrong types of baking them.
Agostini's Bread?
PHENOMENAL!!!
I was shocked at the old fashioned authentic LOOK, TEXTURE, and TERRIFIC TASTE, of the Two different large loaves that I bought:
Sesame Seeded Twisted loaf; AND, a Dark Brown loaf of Russian Rye bread.
Both, EXCELLENT!
I met Rita in the store front and it was like stepping into Cammerieri's Bakery from the Movie ? "MoonStruck ."
Or Addeo's Bakery in the Bronx.
This 100 year old plus business was purchased by Rita and her husband 2 years ago. They are carrying on the tradition of superior Italian bread and more, and they are carrying the TORCH.
I dipped a piece of that Twisted loaf into Extra Virgin Olive oil that was sprinkled with Cracked Black pepper and Cracked Sea Salt, and was drizzled over Fresh Homemade Mozzarella topped with Garden Basil leaves and Juicy Grape Tomatoes. The Bread was DIVINE!
Dinner was served with a Barbecued Cheese and Parsley Sausage Ring from Staten Island N.Y., with Homemade Red and Yellow Roasted Bell Peppers, and Green Poblano Roasted Peppers marinating in Olive oil and garden parsley and slices of Raw Garlic cloves.
Along with a homemade Pesto my wife makes to perfection, Agostini Bread was a perfect accompaniment to our dinner table. Some home made Sangria and our table was furnished with all of the BEST!

“This review is a little overdue, but better late than never. If you saw her post/reel using the dinosaur and the dinosaur cookies, they were for the baby shower of our goddaughter and her husband. The nursery theme, if you didn’t guess, is ….. 🦖 🦕! Not only did the cookies look phenomenal (dinosaur royal icing cutouts and ricotta cookies with vanilla filling rolled in blue and yellow sprinkles), they were delicious and a big hit at the shower. Easy to work with, timely communication and creative ideas. Do yourself a favor and go on over to her Facebook page, follow and you will be able to see where she will be offering her baked goods and treats. I’m sure that you will become a fan too…..on our third order for an upcoming party, just saying 😋😁!“

“I come here often ! It is about over an hour for me but it is so good it is worth it. I always get an iced coffee and the chicken salad Sammy , sooooo good ! Then I order another coffee and grab a sweet treat or two to take home for the next day !“

“Stopped here for a late lunch. I ordered the chef salad with their homemade ranch dressing and my wife got the taco salad. Very nice portion size and both were delicious. Service was also very good. We grabbed a couple snacks from the bakery on our way out for dessert. Yummy as well. This was our first visit but will be back.“
“This place is amazing! The staff is always very, very generous, and they always get my order correct. When I placed a pre-order for Christmas Eve, they were very accurate and kind. The review insulting these teenagers, who are trying their best, is very inaccurate, and very low of the poster for insulting someone way younger than them. I do not understand how you can get mad about Cinnabon, when everything is in order, cleanly, and accurate, especially coming from kids still in highschool.“
