“This is one of my favorite places to get ice cream at. It is a perfect location, there's lots of parking, and the ice cream us amazing. I also am a railfan, and like to film trains at that locations, so it's a good place to chill, hangout, and watch the trains go by.”

“Absolutely love their grilled lemon pepper whitefish. So good! Great with mashed potatoes and soup. Have several things on the menu I am interested in trying. Chrissy is a great waitress. Always pleasant and efficient. Also enjoy walking around the store and checking things out.”

“Dive bar? Yes. Looks like steel tipped darts there. Opens at 18:00. Pretty expensive though. $18 for a 6 Michelob ultra. Smoking allowed and encouraged. If you can't stand that stink, it's best to stay away. Not huge but doable in a pinch.”

“Had an amazing experience at Anthony's! My family of 5 came in today on a roadtrip from Florida to Vermont and got a large variety of foods. I got breakfast, but the table also got burgers, pizza, and even wings! Speaking of which, the wings were possibly the best wings my family has ever had, and it's a shame we don't live in the area to have them more often. The pancakes had a homecooked taste to them and the chocolate chips were simply decadent. It's a family owned restaurant, so the food took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be repeat customers next time we are in town. :)”

“This was my first time back since new management turned a good bar into a GREAT BAR - the 1905 Tavern!!! Only had “Hot Caesar” wings which were great and a couple Outlaw beers!?? “We first heard of Chef Von through Next Level Chef. We stopped today as we passed through Scranton. We had the new hangover smash burger which was off the charts. Everyone was super friendly, food was amazing and we even got to briefly met Chef Von. Highly recommended. Get there before he wins next level and you won’t be able to get a seat.”

“This is a hidden little treasure in NEPA. The food is absolutely amazing - everything from the avocado egg sandwiches to the grilled cheese to the coffee cake muffins! YUM & the coffee is delicious! “A most charming stroll down memory lane. Lots of neat look-sees here and old fashioned candies. They do lots of ice cream orders and the ambiance is worth a drive there. The owner is so friendly and even uses the old time rolling ladder to reach those high up treats. If my kids were little, I would definitely inquire about a birthday party there. I found BROADWAY LICORICE ROLLS and was transported back to 1976. Thanks to all the kind workers at Ballyhoo's.”

“Traveled through the area and got takeout based on the Google reviews, and we were not disappointed. Online ordering was so convenient, pickup was fast and easy, and the staff were very friendly. The chimichangas were absolutely delicious. We got them fried with chicken. We also got the 3 combo with enchiladas and tacos and preferred the chicken enchiladas. Our order came with a ton of chips and delicious salsa. I'm so glad we found this gem ? also so affordable! We will be back!”

“This place is fantastic! Don’t let the small, corner location keep you away. I ordered this 5 hoagie platter for my birthday party and it was a huge hit with my family. This made it so much easier than ordering individual sandwiches for everyone. They slice the roll twice longways, leaving a barrier between the meat and veggies. It’s a brilliant idea that keeps the ingredients nicer longer. We will definitely be going back for more!”
