That bacon was the bomb. I have only been a couple of times. The only negative is the small dining area. I don't know how our waitress was crushing it at her age. She would out work any young kid today.
This is a very interesting and characterful place to eat. It's tucked away a little bit, so you'll have to look for it. Once you get there, it has plenty of parking.Inside, it has a cozy atmosphere. Two of us ordered The Bear with sides of bacon. The difference in their portion sizes was very odd, even the bacon. One order was literally twice the size of the other. The food itself was good, especially the chicken fried steak. I will say that the hunting lodge atmosphere is the best of any breakfast place that I’ve ever eaten at though. The wood stove is nice on a cold day too!
