I ordered the biscuits and gravy and I’m still questioning how something so simple could taste so life-changing. I’ve had my fair share over the years, but this? This was next level. Like, “start-a-fan-club” good. The real MVP, though? Kelly, our server! She was an absolute rockstar—super friendly, quick with the coffee, and treated our 4-year-old daughter like royalty. Seriously, my daughter is now convinced she’s famous. If you’re looking for great food, top-notch service, and the kind of place that feels like a warm hug after a chilly t-ball morning—Big Irene’s is it. “Everything about our experience is beyond 5 stars! The food is absolutely delicious! The staff, i'm not sure where to begin! I have never in my 41 years had service in any restaurant as wonderful as the service here! That speaks volumes! We will be coming back, and recommending to everyone that we know! “Stopped at the Home Tavern while traveling back to Michigan from NY. We love stopping at smaller restaurants instead of the large chain restaurants. Had a great lunch and the place was just what we were looking for. Highly recommend the place and it was just a short distance off the main highway. “Basically a street fair. Lots of food trucks & stands, many of them local. Lots of vendors, again many local, selling everything from beach glass to 3d-printed gadgets to fudge. Love music. No rides/games - there just isn't room. Always a good time.”
