I ordered the biscuits and gravy and I’m still questioning how something so simple could taste so life-changing. I’ve had my fair share over the years, but this? This was next level. Like, “start-a-fan-club” good. The real MVP, though? Kelly, our server! She was an absolute rockstar—super friendly, quick with the coffee, and treated our 4-year-old daughter like royalty. Seriously, my daughter is now convinced she’s famous. If you’re looking for great food, top-notch service, and the kind of place that feels like a warm hug after a chilly t-ball morning—Big Irene’s is it. “Service was prompt and professional. Anything we didn't understand was explained to us. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I even ate the mixed vegetables! Desert was also phenomenal. I had a dish made with fried banana, WOW!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!😎”

“Stopped at the Home Tavern while traveling back to Michigan from NY. We love stopping at smaller restaurants instead of the large chain restaurants. Had a great lunch and the place was just what we were looking for. Highly recommend the place and it was just a short distance off the main highway. Will stop there again when traveling through that area!!”

“Basically a street fair. Lots of food trucks & stands, many of them local. Lots of vendors, again many local, selling everything from beach glass to 3d-printed gadgets to fudge. Love music. No rides/games - there just isn't room. Always a good time.”
