So happy this restaurant came to the Poconos. It save me a drive from going to NY. Everything is fresh and tasty. I went one late evening close to closing and the owner gave my cousin and I free doubles bara that was remaining because he was going to throw it away. The owner is a friendly guy. I would recommend this restaurant the food is great.

I continued supporting this business despite ongoing issues with stale doubles, inconsistent food quality, and mediocre roti skins. I also learned to carefully check receipts due to repeated overcharges at the register.
Unfortunately, my final experience was unacceptable. I sent my wife to pick up doubles yesterday and simply requested fresh doubles from the owner. Instead of responding professionally, he became extremely defensive, rude, and disrespectful. After being insulted and demeaned over a reasonable request, I’ve decided I will not be returning.

Jen’s Roti Shop is one of the best Caribbean spots in Pennsylvania! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The roti, curry chicken, and doubles taste exactly like home. The place is clean, welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in everything they serve.
The workers are friendly, respectful, and fast and the boss treats you like family. Every time I visit, the service is consistent and the food is amazing.
I definitely recommend Jen’s Roti Shop to anyone looking for real, authentic Caribbean food. 5/5 — Worth every visit!

Good morning, just came from getting breakfast. Bake and salt fish and doubles. Wow, I tried Supporting this roti shop. However I finally gave up with Jen's roti shop. The bake was very raw in the middle. The doubles was so nasty the Chana was water down no flavor whatsoever. I took the food back right away and the man who prepared it I showed it to him and he said sometimes that happens. He gave me back my money, however he made me a another bake and salt fish took the whole middle of the inside of the bake out and put salt fish and said it was free. I asked to speak to the owner and he said that she wasn't there. Jen if you see this, I am truly sorry. I asked if she would be back so I can talk to her and he said that she won't be back and he doesn't care if she not

A few weeks ago visited this location to purchase 6-8 roti, the gentleman was nice, to say next time if I only want roti and no curry, call ahead and place the order. However, we were still able to get the qty needed. I appreciate his service. Fast forward to today, needed about 10 plus roti, called the business to place order, the guy answered, was very rude to say we don’t take orders over the phone and hang up. I’m very disappointed in the customer service, as this what drive business in this day in age. Well sorry to say you lost my business and interest to recommend other to purchase from this place.

Macaroni and cheese was hard and I had a slice of pound cake it was stale.
Says they’re open but drive 45 mins just to see they’re closed. Here at 650 and they’re closed with a listing that was updated 2 weeks ago to say they’re open til 8pm. Waste of time and gas.

Love this place! The roti (chicken for me) is awesome. Definitely enough for two people/meals! They have a lot of different items to choose from, but I am a creature of habit lol
