Had the pleasure of Jason hosting us tonight. Food was outstanding, his knowledge and selection of wines is top notch and he helped guide us through an amazing meal. Highly recommend and will be back!

Five stars across the board - really!

Staff are super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner is on the site pitching in. The food is outstanding. The ambience is classy. Wines are well chosen. There is an espresso machine.

The chef knows how to cook with wine (in that the flavor comes thorough and complements the dishes - this is a rare skill in my experience)

One minor thing
Tips are included by default when the bill comes around

I was ok with this because the staff deserved it

But I feel that tipping, while not optional, should be left up to the discretion of the customer, especially for small parties (in our case two). It creates an awkward moment at the end that can potentially ruin what otherwise is a highly pleasant experience.

They should change this

But overall, the place is outstanding

Amazing food and attention to service! The variety of wines and wonderful explanations and passion in explaining where the wine originated from was the best part of the experience in my opinion. The dishes were unique and quite tasty. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting as well. Definitely worth many return visits.

This place hit all the notes. Easy reservation, cozy but not tight, great atmosphere. The food was excellent, marvelously prepared, presented, with filling portions. Definitely a must return.

After three years of coming to Kabinett, I’m finally writing this review because it’s truly well deserved. I’m a well-traveled eater, and Kabinett is the only place in the Lehigh Valley that genuinely impresses me. The food is always thoughtful and full of bold, interesting flavors—from hearty comfort dishes to more creative plates with Korean, Japanese, German, Greek, and Mediterranean influences that pop up in the best ways. Their Thursday mussels nights are incredible, with new flavors every week and always something exciting to try. The menu changes with the seasons, the quality is unmatched, and no other restaurant around here comes close to this level of taste and creativity. A must-visit for anyone who genuinely appreciates quality.

Our food was great but unfortunately the service overlooked that. Our waitress was good at first but after she brought the appetizers out she was no where to be found. A different waitress brought our entrees out but then we went about 45 minutes without being serviced. My fiance was never offered another drink and we sat with empty glasses and plates on our table for about 30 minutes before our waitress finally came back to ask if we wanted dessert. No apologies for her absence, no asking how things were, no asking for more drinks. I would imagine when 20% gratuity is automatically applied that you would receive service that meets that, however tonight that wasn’t the case.

Very nice restaurant. On Thursdays they have bottomless mussels with frites, very entrepreneurial for a restaurant's probably slow night.

Simply put, this is Easton's best restaurant. Come here for exceptional service, wine, and food. They're remarkably attentive to allergies, unlike some other popular restaurants in town!

Don't pass on the potatas bravas. Their steak dishes are exceptional. And I've never had a pork chop as delicious as this.

This place is a rare gem—you will not be disappointed no matter what you order! The food and service are unmatched in the LV. We even got married here in their private Narnia room!

Terrible service tonight from the kitchen. Waited TWO HOURS for our entrees. No offer of any compensation whatsoever. I don’t blame the server and management was nowhere to be seen. Very disappointing and we will never return.
Zero stars.

I have dined at Kabinett Wine Bar many times, and I have never been disappointed. From the beautiful interior and low-key elegant ambiance of the restaurant to the friendly and professional staff to the unrivaled wine list and innovative menu, everything at Kabinett is first-class - something you would expect in a big city but at much higher prices. I rate Kabinett among the best restaurants I have ever experienced, not just in the Lehigh Valley but anywhere. If you like wine and fine dining, then I recommend Kabinett. If you really like wine, then you should go on one of their wine pairing nights. If you do go, then please tell Jason and his team that I sent you. You won’t be disappointed. 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️ P.S. And don’t forget to check out the Tucker Garage and wine store next door for the best wine selection and Australian scones and beer anywhere.

We were very excited to try this place but it did not live up to expectations. Like others have said the food was over salted and over flavored. Stay away from the smoked chocolate lava cake and the citrus crème brûlée both missed the mark on a palatable flavor profile. I see in another review response from 4 weeks ago the owner states the AC was repaired but it was very much not working last night. Service as described by others was painfully slow in a “we can’t keep up with food preparation” way not a “fine dining” way. When we received a recommended wine that tasted like vinegar that had clearly gone bad, the owner sent the waitress back to our table to offer resolutions. By the end of the meal, we had to physically get up to ask for the check as the owner and staff were busy chatting amongst themselves. It pains me to write this review but I seriously just want to spare someone else from a very poor restaurant experience. Spend your time and money going to one of Easton’s other great restaurants.

If you are looking for exceptional libations with curated dishes to accompany, this is the spot. Hospitality is accentuated from the staff to the accomodations. The attention to detail is extended by the nods to mid-century architecture. The loyalty to heritage and playfulness is seen throughout the wine and dinner menu. Highly recommend as a culinary experience in the Lehigh Valley. On a minor note, a small improvement would be the presentation of the bass, which was gracefully nested in a circle of sauces, but can drip beyond this layer if carried at an angle before serving. A lighter salting would elevate the pairings. They furnish an impressive list of spirits, specifically digestifs. Overall, this is a must-visit for any foodie in the Lehigh Valley.
