Kabinett Wine Bar + Dining

Went for our Valentines date night and loved it! We are not huge wine connoisseurs but we heard the food menu was great as well so we thought we’d give it a try. And we are glad we did! The service was excellent, and the food from appetizer to dessert was great. Small but charming place with an elevated atmosphere. I highly recommend for a romantic date night.

We have been hemming and hawing over going to this place for years. I am SO GLAD we finally did. To be honest, we were a little intimidated. We're not wine people and don't know much about it. While it's obvious this place could meet the needs of the fanciest French fancy, we felt like we had an approachable guide (both in the amazing descriptions and from our kind, knowledgeable server) to experience some new wine; they even have a version of flights. We had some wine, and then we turned to the other incredible booze (I had a some German liquor). Tons of beer, whiskey, and other spirits to choose from--both unique if you want it, alongside the staples.

The food was excellent and absolutely memorable: Elegant but not annoyingly fancy (like the romantic space itself). I have *never* had eggplant so good, nor cassoulet. And then there was dessert--a Black Forest cake. Finishing it felt like saying goodbye to a loved one starting a transatlantic voyage on a giant ship.

We will be back.

Just possibly the best restaurant experience ever. The atmosphere, the plates, the service and OMG the dessert !! We love this place

I absolutely loved this place! The wine bar was stunning, with a stylish and elegant design. They have an incredible selection of wines. I really appreciated how the menu was simple yet offered plenty of variety. My favorite dishes were the beef tartare, leeks, crispy skin salmon, and duck with lentils. Chef Kadon was so friendly and welcoming—can’t wait to come back and try more of his amazing creations in the future! Highly recommend this place!

Stopped in for a couple glasses of wine at the bar. Lovely place. Great selection at a range of prices. The service was fantastic... attentive, not rushed and good suggestions when we asked!

Took my wife for her birthday dinner. Very modern casual atmosphere. The server and service were fantastic. I love that they treat their staff well and include gratuity. My oysters were some of the best I had in the Lehigh Valley. Personally, I was overwhelmed by the 60+ page wine menu and had a difficult time making a decision. The server did her best helping. Also, there seems to be a trend at most places in the area where the apps or first courses are better than the entre, and this was no exception. Lastly, there was a kitchen exhaust smell filling the dining area that only got worse as more people came in. We'll come back for a glass of wine and an appetizer for sure.

Decent concept. Poor execution. Upon arriving the entire place was filled with smoke from what must be a poor functioning hood? Be prepared to stink when you leave. Service is abysmally slow and inattentive. Food is better than average but not worth the price. Wine choice is decent. We had two bottles. The second one we ordered took 30 minutes and two reminders to get. Atmosphere is solid. They must be short staffed or something. Both pasta dishes were cold, arrive over 90 minutes after we ordered. The eggplant and schnitzel were warm. It has potential, but overall my experience wouldn’t lead me to return. Strong case of do not recommend. Try elsewhere.

I had one of the most perfect dining experiences at Kabinett. It consisted of amazing wine, oysters, steak tartare (beef and broccoli), Padron peppers, schnitzel, eggplant + tahini, anchovies, and chai panna cotta. Every sip and bite were truly delicious and I look forward to another visit. The space is gorgeous and there are so many lovely details. Not only were my tastebuds delighted, so were my eyes with the beautiful decor. There is a wardrobe door that leads to a private dining area!!
I learned that the wonderful owners are opening up a space next door. I can’t wait to see it be a resource of amazing food and beverages for the area.

Went for Sunday supper. Amazing!!! Everything was wonderful and unique. The staff was wonderful!!! Have to give a HUGE shout out to Safiya. She's a pastry chef and myself and my mother had a wonderful conversation with her. I WILL be back!!
I cannot rave enough about how wonderful the food is.

Wheelchair accessibility: I use a cane and my dinner quest has a knee scooter. No problems getting in and out. There is no handicap parking. We got dropped off and picked up. It was VERY easy! They were within a few feet of the handicap ramp.

Truly excellent food and service in downtown Easton. Definitely a step above the other restaurants in the area. Highly recommend!
