I stopped in this afternoon on my way to Connexions Gallery; I got a terrific chocolate chip cookie and had a nice chat with the server. I'd recommend it for a great snack! I took a few photos & did a sketch of the wonderful shop.
Mia and Maddie’s bakery is a jewel. I stumbled upon it while driving through the neighborhood. It’s very cute inside. All baking is done on the premises and most importantly it’s woman owned! The service was spectacular. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and we chatted about everything under the sun. She was very personable and polite. Her bakery items was tasty and moist. This bakery easily makes my Top 5 list. From the moment you walk in, you can smell the fresh bread and pastries coming out of the oven, which already tells you you’re in the right place. Everything I’ve tried has been incredibly fresh and made with real care and quality ingredients. The pastries are flaky, the desserts are perfectly sweet without being overpowering, and the presentation is beautiful.
