About Pearly Baker's Alehouse

Pearly Baker's Alehouse is a restaurant known for its beer selection and kids-friendly atmosphere. It has a relaxing vibe, and recent reviews highlight the friendly staff, including bartender Ryan and the welcoming team. While there were some previous concerns about service and food quality, the experience seems to be improving, with guests enjoying the local beer selection, especially the IPAs and a chocolate stout.

The food has received positive feedback, with the cheese steak sandwich, ahi tuna special, and shakedown street nachos being particularly praised for their taste and portion size. The soft pretzel bites have also become a favorite, along with the hanger steak on skewers and mango habanero wings, which were noted for their flavor. Even the kids' menu, featuring Mac and cheese, has been a hit. Although some past issues included slow service and the chicken pesto flatbread having too much crust, the overall response to the food has become more favorable. The atmosphere has been described as friendly, with guests appreciating the classic, well-maintained older building and high ceilings, along with Grateful Dead references in the decor. While prices remain noted as high, the quality of the drinks and food seems to be on the rise, making Pearly Baker's Alehouse a spot worth revisiting.

I asked the manager to come over and she agreed that that’s not ham She went back into the kitchen and asked them and they said that they were out of ham so they put pork on it. What if I was allergic to pork? Other people...read full review
