I used to frequent this spot when they were in the smaller location and the food was delicious and I always felt welcome when I went there. I tried the new location today and things have changed. The guy that took our order was not welcoming at all he kind of was just going through the motions. He was very short in taking our order. Beautiful people, delicious food. Oxtail are beyond tasty and price is amazing compared to how much they cost in store uncooked without perfection. The chicken stew is great. Jerk chicken on point. Snapper just YuM! Definitely worth a delicious meal made with heart and soul!
I was excited to try a small authentic place and this surely delivered.
I ordered the oxtail which was the most expensive for the day, and the price was met with tender meat, rich flavor that wasn't too salty, tender collared greens and delicious rice. The portions were large and it would be plenty for both my wife and I.
*Went back next week for curry chicken, with cabbage, rice and pease. Very pleased!
