Just had dinner at the 1818 Tavern. This is the first time that the food was not up to par. (Might be new owners?). The crab dip was very fishy tasting and watery. My husband’s cheese steak was bland and dry and instead of the yummy sautéed onions that they used to put on, it had large raw onion pieces. We did not eat the crab dip and were charged $20 for it anyway because “the Chef said it was fine”. They need to work on their customer service. Very disappointing and we will not be returning.

Stopped in for dinner with my daughter. Before I go anywhere I read these reviews. I really wanted to experience the ghost, lol, no luck. Angela, our server was really great, very attentive. I had the English Burger which was delicious, I really do like their French fries. It's on the small side, but I love the vibe, very quaint. I'd definitely come back, highly recommend. Thank you.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Encountered the rudest bartender I have ever met. Cursed at our whole group and was unwilling to serve a large group even after being notified days in advance that a large group would be coming to the restaurant. Would not recommend this establishment to anyone.
