Called ahead. Was told a 5 minute wait. After waiting 40 minutes was refused an empty table even though the “reserved” table was vacated by five people who left without ordering. When asked if there was a table available, the flippant hostess condescendingly said, “If there was a table, I’d seat you.” At no that point, we got up and left.

Great place for a drink and food. Ordered the daily special mussels and they were delicious. The chicken wings cooked perfectly and the burger was great. The berry cake for dessert also delicious. A very happy place and the noise level can be a little loud but worth it. An extensive Martini menu.

Great food, great service, welcoming, boisterous atmosphere. The best local pub in the area!Parking: While there are plenty of parking spaces behind the building, a place this good definitely fills up and you may find a challenge evenings and weekends.

Went to 1818 Saturday night for a quick bite. I just love the ambiance and atmosphere of this historic tavern. Our waitress, who was just wonderful, took our drink order and brought them very quickly. I ordered their famous Crab soup and Chicken Wings. The soup didn't disappoint. Just scrumptious! The wings were cooked perfectly. Didn't like the Blue cheese dressing but oh well. Overall 5 's.

First time and last time here, should have "listened" to Yelp and Trip Advisor Reviews, surcharged without informing for "aujus" for filet sandwich while it was stated on the description, however they did not even give "aujus" they gave a brown gravy, had to ask two times for it then when got the bill saw surcharge. Sat at bar , barmaid very friend to the "regulars" basically ignored me and my boyfriend. My "filet mignon" sandwich was Just OK not worth $20. Really wanted to give a better rating however if they want to remain in business they should treat customers better and inform of surcharges for things stated that came with it. Very dissapointed

Great food and even better service. The waitress was lovely and very friendly. Only issue is that the booths are pretty small and wooden, so not super comfy. Pretty charming old fashion place.

Nothing overly special. Food was average. Also they are very strict on no subs for food and the 3 martini minimum. Which by the way is a 3 drink minimum. Drinking Guinness? Yep, you can only have 3. I had a DD that night and was looking forward to the martinis. I didn't like the second one I ordered and asked for a different one. I was even willing to pay for the one I didn't drink! Sure you can have another but it counts as your third and final drink. I would be hard pressed to go back.

First off we had a waitress that treated us like she really didn't want us there. The place is sooooo overcrowded. Our table was practically attached to the bar. Noisy, noisy, noisy. The food was....well.....food.

It always ruins the atmosphere when annoying people enter an already small place, then quibble about where they are going to sit (bar or table) all the while, blocking the waitress from serving her guest, and hitting my hubby in the leg with her large handbag when pondering her seat position.
