Great baked Haddock and pierogies!!! Love their own brew dark beer!! Great place to be without major commotion

It was ok. The mac and cheese was really overcooked and some of the noodles were burnt. It didnt have much flavor. The pierogies were good and had a good flavor. The walleye was ok too. It was a bit oily but still had a decent flavor.

Came for fish on Friday with 8 people. I asked them for vinegar with everyone’s fish. The kitchen staff brought out about 1 oz of vinegar… I asked for 7 more because they would not be enough for all of us…. They never came back with vinegar….. so I asked the waiter if he would get us vinegar. He went to kitchen and came back out and told us there would an up charge for the vinegar. I said sure I’ll give you 5 dollars for the bottle and even offered to go buy them vinegar at the local dollar general if they need e a donation.. anyway they finally brought out about 4 small cups of vinegar and charged us 4.50 cents for them.. I thought that was ridiculous and they should feel embarrassed to charge for condiments. Rude kitchen staff and rude waiter.. also their beer is awful.. the sulfur crick ipa literally taste likeSulfur. I hope another brewery moves in.. I would like to support a better business.

Coal Country is my new favorite place. I don't typically go out much but after my first time I've been hooked. Food is amazing and beer is amazing as well. Great environment and everyone is very friendly

Food was great. Fresh meat hamburger...fresh chips. Huge beer and drink selection. Very good service. Reasonable prices. Nice ambiance. Bar was a little dirty. Food didn't come out at the same time. Bartenders were on their phones, rather than paying attn to customers needs. I will try again though.

Was out in the area for a family reunion. Went here and was very impressed with all the beers The drinks they make are wonderful my wife loves them. The food is very good also. We had different dishes and everyone was very good.

Loved the beer and the food. The West Coast IPA (Acid Mine Drainage) was our favorite, and the Reuben sandwich was excellent. Great service as well.

Beers are good some are delicious. Taco Thursday tacos were very good not too much just right. Fried walleye was great. Quesadilla Burger was very good. Peach whiskey with strawberry lemonade drink was out of this world. All in all will definitely come here again when in the area.

All I can say is Wow!!! Mike and Kris have a great Gem here!!! We went for the Sunday BBQ with friends. The Brisket, Beef, Potato Salad, And Mac Salad were the best I have ever had!!! Even beats your family pic nic, or grandmas best!!! Hospitality was beyond five stars. As new comers Mike came over and talked to us and made us feel at home. Best Beer on tap in this region!!!! Both Kris and Mike are a blessing to talk to.. Thanks to Linda and Lisa for showing us this Gem. I would give 10 Stars but 5 is the limit. Keep it up Coal Country. We will be back!!!!
