Stumpy’s Hot Dog Shack

This is the best place to get loaded hot dogs or even plain hotdogs. They have amazing creations that you never would think would go together, but somehow they do. The service is great too

Charming old-fashioned hot dog stand. Immediately smelled good, and they have more than just hot dogs. Service was personable, and the food was fresh. I thought the decor was charming, and it was pretty affordable, too.

I was in the mood for a simple burger under $10 and found Stumpy's on Google maps.
Small and basic, the inside had counter seating that was cozy without feeling crowded. There is also a shaded outdoor eating area with window service.

I ordered a Coney dog and mushroom burger, neither of which I have pictures of because I ate them too fast. The food was everything I'd hoped for. Tasty, basic, good old fashioned burger stand food. The burger was large and cooked with a nice sear on the outside while remaining juicy and tender inside. The cook did not skimp on the toppings adding plenty of mushrooms and cheese. The Coney was served on a toasted roll and the chili that came on it had a slight zing that kept me wanting more.

If you are looking for a small Mom & Pop with a classic "burger joint" menu this is it. I'll be making this a regular stop.

Brought the family in to eat for dinner, got the Kansas City and Cowboy myself which were delicious! The kids enjoyed theirs as well.

I wanted a hot dog. Great spot for dogs. Got a chili dog, kansas city dog, and Chicago dog w/ cheese and grilled onions. Dogs were 'burnt' up on grill. All very tasty. Much better than the joint in Pottstown. Didn't get fries. Covered porch area. Will go again.

2nd visit here , the food was soooo good! The young lady cooking was very polite and made sure to ask if I wanted anything else on my burger. Very friendly and very clean.

I tried Stumpy a few months ago and I’m obsessed. My family and I have tried a handful of their menu items and everything has been so good! It can definitely get pretty busy and hectic at times so don’t be a jerk. 😊
