“This place is absolutely incredible I never go out to bars but I love wings and a good friend of mine told me to try it and my God it did not disappoint I ordered Mild with medium to try because when it comes to spicey I am not able to handle much heat but the Mild was just the right amount the crispy crunch of the wing also soft and chewy I don't know how they do it but it is just perfect they are also the biggest wings I have ever seen and eaten I bought an order of the mild and an order of the garlic and they were both incredible. After enjoying that, I also looked on the menu and seen, they had minnie potato pancakes and that is also another one of my favorite things, so I ordered that and some seasoned fries just to try everything. And it was just absolutely incredible The people in there especially the bartender named Matt he was so quick and friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was just so warm. Everybody was so nice and welcoming and I just don't know what else to say. If you're looking for a nice little place to go and have some incredible food and have a few drinks and a good time. I would highly recommend trying out this place. You won't be sorry. I also seen a bunch of people ordering pizzas and they were absolutely loaded with food I myself haven't had the pizza yet but will be back for more incredible wings and pancakes and will definitely be trying the pizza“

“It's been a year since we've been here. We decided to try it again. So glad we did. New chef, World of different in the food. Pizza was fabulous. Slightly crispy bottom , nice fluffy dough. Very tasty topping the tomato/ cheese blend. Chicken Wings were perfectly done. Beer is still a good fill in the glass. It was also the proper temp this time. Bathrooms were spotless. Help was super pleasant as always. Nice atmosphere.

It's definitely a smaller hole in the wall type establishment and can get very crowded but was a great time for my friends and I.What makes this bar get 5 stars however is the bartender. Even though he was incredibly busy he covered my Soda free of charge when he found out I was the designated driver. While $1 is practically meaningless to me, seeing him observe the position I was in and choosing to cover my drink even when I was happy to pay made this place stand out to me. Most people do not enjoy being the sober driver so the gesture really made an impression on me about what kind of establishment this was.“

“A friend and I stopped in tonight for the first time. We arrived soon after they opened at 4 and decided to sit at the outside bar. Our server was very accomodating, turning on the tvs and the outdoor heaters, even procuring me a ticket for the Ancient Order of Hibernians pasta dinner fundraiser being held there Saturday, April 17. I had the Lace Curtain Panini w/fries and an IPA, all excellent. The Lace Works was very clean and inviting. My friend and I agreed we would have to return soon!“

“RUN here to have what was one of the most surprisingly delightful meals. We sat outside as we had our dog- but the interior gives off a warm speakeasy vibe which can range from cozy date night to memorable group dinner. We were BLOWN away by the level of service from the staff. So many came to talk to us and the beer knowledge was impeccable. When we honed in on a beer they just automatically brought a sample and you could tell this place really loved their products and informing guests about them. The cocktails also looked great but we didn’t partake. I love the rotating beer concept. You’re always going to find one curated (bespoke) version of 20 beer styles. Love a Belgian Quad (we do) - you’re ALWAYS going to find one! On to food. We had a great soft pretzel, one of the pizzas and a salad to share. Lots to choose from here but we kept it simple (and vegetarian). The pizza is wood fired- great crunchy crust. Salad was fresh and on point. The menu rotates (think farm to table) so I won’t dwell on what I had but instead URGE you to go try this for yourselves. I’m thinking Scranton might be a regular place to overnight for a weekend getaway with this gem here. I would drive here again simply to come here. (For reference I’m about 4 hours away). Oh and I forgot to add the dessert was the perfect light bite to end this gem of a meal.“

“I just moved to the Scranton/Dunmore area from New York City. I was looking for a local place to “hang my hat”. After trying several local establishments, someone told me I should try Crotti’s on Ash. I met Sheila, the owner, who is fantastic about managing, serving and booking the bands for the place.
I walked in on a Monday night and saw Clarence Spady playing a rendition of “Hey Joe” that floored me. If you don’t know who Clarence is- Google him. I’ve been coming back ever since. Every band or person that plays here is extremely impressive and high quality. Coming from NYC, it’s difficult to impress me but everything about this place is awesome. The people here are warm, good-hearted souls that make everyone feel welcome- Even a displaced person from New York City!“

“Here on a Thursday night at 6 for a nice dinner! This Saloon is fantastic! A very comfortable rustic atmosphere surrounded by what seemed to be to me some of the friendliest people in the area. The waitress was comfortably both very respectful, professional and friendly at the same time. After settling down to a very tasty, and well presented meal "cooked to perfection I might add" we chose to have a couple of drinks, while there, musicians started setting up equipment and soon they started the entertainment, and we were impressed by the quality of music that we were fortunate to be experiencing. Turns out it was Legends open mic night and threw the next couple of hours the musicians rotated on stage and brought what at least for us and apparently the rest of the clientele was a very enjoyable evening!! After traveling 30 some miles to check out what some friends had said about Legends Saloon, I must say that we will definitely be coming back for a repeat and more than likely it will be on a Thursday! Who knows maybe even a weekly thing! A big hats off to Legends Saloon!!“

“I won a gift card to this restaurant from a raffle at Dunmore Elementary. My wife & I went tonight. It was a Wednesday night so we were not expecting a crowd. There was a decent group of people there for a Wednesday. We sat ourselves at a table off to the side in the bar area. The bar tender came over right away and introduced herself. She was very nice. We ordered 2 entrees and split them. We ordered the 16oz Sirloin steak entree and the shrimp skewers entree. Wow! I did not expect such a massive steak! It was huge. We ordered it medium. It was cooked perfectly. And I know. I was a chef for many years working in kitchens. Whoever cooked this steak knew what they were doing. It was seasoned well and topped with blue cheese crumbles. Mouth watering. The Shrimp skewers were seasoned with a Cajun spice and rested on a bed of rice pilaf. Delicious. It had a little kick. But not too much. Just right. We each got the seasoned vegetables and mashed red potatoes as our sides. Portions were generous. My wife took half of hers home for lunch tomorrow. I on the other hand will not be defeated. I cleaned my plate. The red skin mashed potatoes were the star of the show. Wow! They did not need any gravy or anything. So buttery and good. Same with the mixed vegetables. Perfect. We were both pleasantly surprised. The bar tender kept checking on us and refilled my Diet Coke without me even asking. She was really fantastic. On the ball and she had a full bar of customers by the time we left. That did not stop her from taking care of us. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great hidden gem in Dunmore. As we were leaving and walked past bar area I said to my wife, “This would be a fun place to watch a game or big sporting event.” Well sure enough there were signs for future happy hours and upcoming games.
