The apples were absolutely delicious! It's a small place but it's free and not overrun by crowds. I wish parking was marked. We also for the cider which made us oddly thirty and we bought apple coder doughnuts which we found oily. The people who work there are very nice, and it's just a relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed it.
Ritter's cider Mill is one of those places that is a hidden treasure that could probably be a little better known. Roba's is the big cider mill place in the area and always has huge crowds and a crazy expensive entrance fee. Ritter's has a lot of the same experiences but is free, and the donuts and the cider are infinitely better. It's small-ish but has everything you need for a quick little fall day. The cider doughnuts are literally the best I've ever had. We got them hot and fresh right off the trays. Literally orgasmic! Yes, you read that right. Hayride was cheap. Corn maze was free. Also had animal feeding, pony rides, more treats, jugs of cider, fresh picked apples, local honey, etc.
