“I'm a good paying customer here since I turned 21. Always will be a local watering hole for me. Friendly staff. Good food. Great environment. Tons of Tvs for game day. Smoking side of the bar seperate from non smoking if you want to rip some darts, smoke a cigar or vape in heat or air conditioning without being in the weather. All in all nice chill spot.“

“My man & I were visiting over the weekend & had dinner here Sat evening. Robert was our waiter & he was great! He was attentive & had a great personality. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. He ordered a bacon burger & I ordered the Chicken Caesar BLT. We enjoyed the food & atmosphere so much we returned on Sunday for lunch prior to heading back home. We sat at the bar & Jevelin was the bartender. She was friendly & welcoming. My man ordered the jalapeño poppers & I ordered the crab-cake sliders for appetizers. He ordered the cheese steak & I ordered the Cali chicken sandwich for our meal.Quality food cooked well! We will definitely eat here again whenever we are in the area again!“

“Have been going to Machs Gute for Saturday lunch cheesesteaks for years, and loved it. Had the need for a function and it had to be at Machs Gute. Peter and staff were great to work with, easy to plan and very attentive to our needs. Day of the celebration was great, got tons of compliments on the food and service. Can’t say enough! “We have been here several times. We usually enjoy sitting at the bar with Sam (he’s great) as our bartender. Food and drinks are always good. Saturday was so nice we asked to sit outside. The atmosphere out there is awesome. What really made it a special time was Will as our waiter!! He made it well worth the money we spent. He was attentive, knew the menu very well (I always ask questions about different dishes), funny and just enjoyable to talk with. He makes a great salesperson because we didn’t even mind that he upsold us on several things! To top it off a magician gave us a table side show before we left. What a great night spent with friends at a place that leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling. We’ll definitely be back“

“We had a great experience at the bar today. Our bartender took good care of us. Biggest thing for me, she knew the menu. We enjoyed the crab fries, pickle pierogies, wings and seafood bisque. The seafood bisque was excellent of flavor and loaded with seafood. The wings were well cooked and traditional. The pickle pierogies were so dam good I’m thinking about going back tomorrow. The bill did not break the pocketbook — a very good value.“

“Good, solid, local spot for beers and cocktails. Sometimes you can't get exactly what you want due to a lack of ingredients (they don't have everything needed for an Old Fashioned). It's clean inside and the staff are very friendly and attentive. However, it's not super "nice" inside. It's not bad, but it's not wow. Definitely a good spot and I definitely recommend others stop in!“

“Went there for the first time on Friday night. We knew they didn't take reservations and were prepared to wait. We put our names in and were told it would be about 15 minutes which was fine. We were super excited as the restaurant looked really nice inside and we had heard the "ghost stories" so we were looking forward to the whole experience. Sadly the waitress came up and told us she was going to seat us in "the other dining room" which is just an extra room they use for small events and such. NOT the same ambiance as the main room for sure. Plus if you need to use the restroom you have to walk outside and back into the main room which is inconvenient. She should have asked if we were ok not being seated in the main dining area as we would have gladly waited a bit longer for that to happen. Our waitress was delightful and our drinks were very good. Food came out too quick after our appetizers....we literally had just started eating them when our food was there. Waitress did apologize so it was nice she realize that was a negative. Food was 8/10....would certainly come back and try other things!“

“At Pints and Pies, the deep dish style pizza is the real deal – thick crust, loaded with toppings, and just downright satisfying. Although when it comes to their boneless wings, well, they're more like tiny popcorn chicken pieces. So, while the pizza rocks, the wings could be better.“

Tonight I felt compelled to write a review because it was insanely busy, yet, my experience was the same as any other time! The employees are always so nice, the food is amazing (have never ever had a bad meal here), I was constantly tended to and somehow, in all the craziness of their evening, I was in and out in an hour! Sometimes that’s nice when you live a hectic, fast paced lifestyle and you’re just looking for a quick, good dinner. The atmosphere is perfect for a nice romantic dinner for two, the big family with young kids, or just a hangout spot with your friends. I recommend this place to everyone I know; family, friends, work colleagues. Love love love this place and the people that run it!“

“Folks will say this is a dive bar and I will tell you those people have never had a drink before eleven a.m. Joe's is a welcoming place no matter who you are or how thick your wallet is and it's probably the best place on the north side of Bethlehem that tourists haven't ruined yet. Best cheesesteak in Bethlehem and my wife swears by the Caesar salad. Also, don't sleep on the soups. They are gourmet and put the soups at higher priced and more pretentious places to shame. The staff is friendly and attentive and kids are welcome. Only things to know is its cash only (low fee ATM inside) and bring quarters for the novelty vending machine in the men's room.“
