“My husband and I recently celebrated our 40th anniversary there in early March. Our reservations were for Sunday at 3:30 thruOpen Table. What we didn’t realize was they close at 4. But thanks to Allyson Hamilton, she was a real trooper and took care of us as though they weren’t closing for another 4 hours! The food was absolutely delicious! Allyson was not only ever so adorable but treated us so wonderful. Am looking forward to their new restaurant, Luna, opening up by Progress Avenue and Linglestown Road. Will be there with bells on! Thank you Vissagios and Allyson for a lovely anniversary dinner!“

“So, let me start off by saying that I did enjoy the pizza here, it was very good, but unfortunately it is not Old Forge style pizza. I’m from NEPA and have had pretty much every old forge pizza around including the biggies like Revellos, A&G, Cafe Rinaldi, Salernos, and Callarussos of Avoca. This pizza is more along the lines of a “NEPA fried Sicilian style”. Think Pizza Perfect, pizza Loven, Sparetime in Dallas. A bit of a greasier crust, and missing the true sharp American cheese blend that sticks to the roof of your mouth and what makes an Old Forge pizza an Old Forge pizza. Again, the pizza was very good, and I do like a NEPA fried Sicilian, it’s just not the same as Old Forge.“

“Love this place!! When I go to visit my daughters this is such a treat I love to take her and her boyfriend here for dinner. Mario is the waiter you want he is phenomenal he’s been there 21 years and the service he gives is impeccable. The food is amazing every course is amazing. We always get oysters Rockefeller and lollipop lamb chops as our first course you won’t be disappointed! Any other veal entrées are amazing! Cocktails top shelf! We’ve been there many times and we’ve never been disappointed don’t miss out on this treasure!!“

“I was there for a birthday dinner and it exceeded my expectations. It had a nice cozy atmosphere.. We were served ice water in four carafes for our table of ten. The server was very nice and helpful with the menu. My order of nonna's meatballs (size of tennis balls) and spaghetti was delicious. They had live jazz music. Definitely recommend.“

We ate here on Feb 13, for my husband's birthday, they had the Valentine's special cioppino, which he LOVED!! I got the oxtail ragout which was as delicious as always. “I had such a wonderful, unexpected experience at this pizza place! By chance, I met the owners and they invited me and my husband to try their pizza, and it is now definitely my favorite pizza I’ve ever had! The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and every bite showed the care they put into it. The prices were comparable to corporate owned chains but the quality was astronomically better than any other place I’ve been to. Having moved here from the West Coast I have been enjoying the opportunity to try new restaurants especially cuisine not as easy to come by back in our hometown. The owner spun the dough right in front of us, and it was clear how proud he is of his restaurant. He welcomed every customer with genuine warmth, making the atmosphere truly enjoyable. It felt like an authentic Italian experience, full of heart and passion. I can’t wait to go back and I am happy to know they even offer delivery! “Had the mild wings and the gyro. Wings are not overly sauced or breaded. They were so good I went back the next day to order them again lol. Then I got the gyro. “Chef Qui Musarra is one of the finest chefs in central PA. There isn't a dish I wouldn't recommend, but if I had to give recognition to one dish I would tell you that "Il Toscano" (the Tuscan Rib-eye) should be on your must have list. When available, the Chuleta and Percebes are also on that list. Mangia!“

“This is a good neighbor spot. The regular pizza is a very basic NYC that could be a little bland, but definitely not bad. The white pizza is very good, but the grandma is the star of the show. The grandma is the most flavorful pizza I have tried from here and all the ingredients go great together. Sauce and crust are better than on the regular. It is more pricey but worth the upgrade!“

“Went in for a slide and got the meat lovers thick crust. Large piece for $3.98 with tax. While waiting I was shocked to see the very large menu of subs, cold and hot, salads and Strombolis. Casual setting if you dine in with great 80s music and sever was great. I was feeling like I walked into a joint in NYC the minute I opened the door and when I saw the sever wearing a NY cap, I figured I was right on with a smile on my face.“
