Cali’s West Catering (specifically Sarah and her team) went above and beyond for our wedding! They pulled everything together seamlessly and delivered an incredible experience at Bear Ridge. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive, professional, and a joy to work with. We’re so grateful for their flexibility, quality, and care. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Cali's exceeded our expectations. We booked with them, without a tasting, because of their reputation in the area. We worked primarily with Susan, and she was amazing! They helped us coordinate everything from food set up, to dismissing tables, to clean up of cocktail hour & the buffet. Our guests loved the food and talked about it the rest of the weekend. Calis catered my mother’s 75th birthday party this evening and it was fantastic! The servers were incredible and you would have never known the food was not prepared on sight! Everything tasted fresh and hot! Best catering company in Erie hands down!!!! Thanks to all!

Highly DISAPPOINTED!!!! Definitely NO Recommendation from this way. Let me first start of by saying the only reason Cali's was used is because per venue they are the caterers for the place that was booked for wedding.

I will say, the STAFF provided was phenomenal!!! Made sure everything stayed clean, walked around filling glasses, and just nice folks!!! Will not take away from them. The young gentleman serving the food could have been a tad more personable, but it is what it is.

HOWEVER, the food was horrible!!!!!!
I understand it is banquet, but this was by far the WORST I have ever had!!! Very nice presentation, until you took a bite!!! The chicken dip, little smokies, and meatballs were good as appetizers, HOWEVER the chicken bacon ranch dip was disgusting (highly unrecommended).
Then came dinner...the meatloaf had absolutely NO FLAVOR ( a nursing home resident would not have wanted that), the greens were simmered in a pot of water with a pinch of seasoning(for all that Glory greens from the can would have sufficed), the chicken did not look done at all(I can't tell you how it tasted because I was nervous to try it) and the mashed potatoes were dry. The fruit and cesar salad, as well as the rolls were good, but how can you mess those up.

Also, the bride was advised that a SMALL appetizer platter would be provided at their sweetheart table, so when they came down they would have something to snack on while we waited for dinner to be served, and they got nothing.

Just was not a good experience and unfortunately, I'm not the only one to say something, just the only one that will forewarned folks about spending their money wisely elsewhere for their special day.

Cali’s catered our wedding on June 1st. They were great to work with. Nikki helped us coordinate throughout the whole process and was so helpful and communicative throughout. The service on our wedding day was excellent and the food was really good. I would recommend them to everyone!

The Owner Jay and his 2nd in charge Mark are the 2 most unsavory people I’ve ever worked for in my life. If sitting on milk crates and barking orders at your staff whilst you do jack is a great environment for your employees to loathe you.

We got a huge spread for our Xmas party at work it was not what I expected.

I'm my dad's caregiver and he can be a bit, let's say, "selective" at times when it comes to eating. A friend recommended Cali's for their pickup meals. So that's what we did and I haven't heard a whisper of a complaint yet. He loves this place.
