Just went there for a late lunch, it was delicious! Got the special with a hot dog, fries (I upgraded to cheese fries) and a drink, everything was delicious and it was affordable. The staff are also very nice and the service was great! Highly recommend!

NOT a Chicago style hot dog. So many easy elements missing. Plain bun, no relish,no celery salt,no sport pepper. Big Meh! Onion rings were amazing. Note to owners! Photo is what people think they're getting. Easy fix!

Randomly stopped in for lunch. I ordered a chilli dog and a Chicago dog with fried mushrooms. The order came up quickly and the counter person was pleasant. The best part was the mushrooms. Fried and delicious. The hot dogs were a tad disappointing. They were luke warm at best and I couldn't tell how they were cooked. No grill marks or anything. The chilli was bland and the Chicago dog was not what I expected either. Tomatoes and banana peppers aren't what I would expect for the type of hot dog. I might give another shot down the road to see if things improve but currently there are way better options for a good Smith's hotdog locally.

The owners are fantastic, the food is fantastic and the wait time is short! Inexpensive and high quality. I work close by and will be eating here at least once a week. The beef is fresh and you can taste it. You gotta check this place out!

I went into this very excited. I haven't been to a stand alone hotdog place in Erie. The service was great, they answered any questions I had and were super friendly. I was expecting good and copious ingredients on my dogs with a solid bun, maybe toasted with some butter or something...
I got a hot dog. The dog itself was doing most of the work. Nothing was done to the bun, just kinda there to transport hotdog to mouth. I got McDonald's quality onions, tiny pieces with zero flavor. That was my biggest disappointment I think.
I'll give them this, their chili friends were good. They were hot as hell and the chili was solid. I think this place could be incredible with a bit more effort. A Wegman's bun and a Smith's dog can only carry you so far, to be truly exceptional some higher quality or better prepared ingredients might be in order.

Visiting the area and saw it as we drove by. Coney dog with no onions for me. Bacon & cheddar for hubby, with fresh cut fries. Coney was delicious!! The chili had just a slight kick to it, just like I like it. They were able to cancel the onions on my coney after the order was placed, which was appreciated. Onions don't agree with me. Bacon-cheddar dog was also very good, and the fresh cut fries were not too greasy, which is difficult to do when they're fresh cut (IMHO). I was hoping to get a shake, but they only have soft drinks & tea (reg. & sweet). Not a big deal. All in all, a good, quick meal.

First time going,not to bad. Will say better than the other coney.. (js) you can taste the seasoning really good . (Add a little more onion to the greek dog and the greek burger ,the Greek burger add a little more Greek in the middle other than that good
Parking: It's in a plaza ,but still easy to find parking.
We got lunch here on a Friday afternoon, the food was great! 1 hot dog added Greek Sauce, two Cheeseburgers added Greek Sauce and we split an order of their fresh cut fries, and added Greek Sauce and nacho cheese. It was outstanding! The price was great too. The lady at the counter was helpful and friendly, and there was plenty of seating. Definitely worth a stop!
