I don’t understand why this place has such good reviews. Unbearably slow service. It was a Friday night and the place wasn’t busy at all but we still waited 20 minutes from the time we got water to the time the waitress came to take our food order. Although the food did come out within a reasonable time after putting in the order. Its been a while since I've been to a Gix and Hound considering the one near me in OH is closed. But this place had the most delicious food and drinks, especially compared to the locations I had previously gone too. I rarely find a good Mai Tai, but the bartender Ruthie made the perfect Mai Tai! The only lacking a 5 star from me was the service from the waitress was not very good, in that, she forgot a lot of things. However, with some more training, I think she would be great.
Our church choir has stopped here as a group occasionally over the last few years. They handle groups extremely well. Our server was great. Their late menu is typical bar food; not especially healthy but well prepared with generous portions. One small complaint. A friend and I ordered Guinness off of their draft menu. It was ice cold and I suspect was the bottle variety. Not a big deal.
