This place is disgusting! First time to Erie, Pa. My boyfriend and I wanted a really good bagel but when we ordered our bagels my boyfriend noticed the employee putting the egg and ham in the microwave so he said, excuse me , ma'am did you just put that in the microwave and she nodded her head yes. He said, no thank you, you can cancel that order and we left . Also , the coffee is not fresh btw. And like other people have said , you must of not had a good bagel before . Absolutely, disgusting and disappointing.

Bagels are always great. The veggie cream cheese I bought had mold in it and when I looked at the bottom of the container the expiration date was 3/22 while the day of purchase was 4/6.

This is their Bacon Egg & Cheese lolz. Liquid egg, kraft single and half a slice of bacon. Both sandwiches. Can't make this up.

Today was the first we ever tried Jo’s , the bagels were FANTASTIC! Will definitely be going back on a regular basis.

Best bagel I've ever had! There was a crazy long line and the women at the front counter were fast and friendly. This is a bagel place, so do yourself a favor and avoid the doughnuts. They are old and stale. With that one issue you may notice that this is still a 5 star review. That's how amazing the bagels (and employees) are!

While passing through Erie, PA today, I stumbled upon Jo’s Bagel on Shannon Road. Being from out of state, I was eager to try some local bagels with egg and cheese. I had the pleasure of meeting Robert, who warmly welcomed me and engaged in a conversation about Erie and the business. To my surprise, he generously gifted me a coupon for a free bagel sandwich. The bagels at Jo’s are truly fantastic! Freshly baked and bursting with flavor, they exceeded my expectations. With Robert's hospitality and the delicious offerings, I know Joe's Bagel will become my go-to spot for coffee and bagels whenever I'm in Erie. Highly recommended!

I'll recommend this place to anyone. I always get bagels to go and at $1.25 each you can't beat it with a stick. Jalapeno/Cheddar and Banana Pepper/Asiago are my go-tos. Conveniently located and a breeze to support a local company.

Best bagels in a 200 mile radius. I've been to the "best" bagel shops in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and buffalo. You'd have to go to NYC or Chicago for better. Not a fan of the homemade cream cheese, it drips out when the bagel is warm. But that is personal preference. I just buy Philadelphia c.m. and whip it myself.Next best in Erie is wagmans but for twice the cost.

This place used to be the best bagel place in town with top notch everything, sandwiches pastries etc. Nows its far from and standards are low. The bagels don’t even look the same. Bought one bagel with cream cheese, and when I unwrap the foil the cream cheese was so skimpy it already melted. I should’ve took a photo at that moment, but suffered through it, but when I asked for a side of cream cheese, they charge me $1.50 for a small cup of cream cheese that i shouldnt have needed. Additionally i always get a club sandwich add egg and it’s a huge sandwich this one was light also. Got to Cherry turn overs and they taste and felt like they should’ve been turned over to the trash can and not sold they were old and stale. It’s sad the old owner passed she’d be disappointed

Just another lame bagel place trying to capitalize off of the reputation of the delicious bagels in Brooklyn New York. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and Long Island , the bagels back home are twice as big and served usually piping hot, very light and airy on the inside and a little crusty on the outside , nothing at all like the puny , dense like Styrofoam and undercooked "bagels" served at Jo's. Change the name to Erie bagel and be honest please.Btw , in Brooklyn Bagle places sell bialys too ,, you don't even know what those are ?????? Sad .
