Best bagel I've ever had! There was a crazy long line and the women at the front counter were fast and friendly. This is a bagel place, so do yourself a favor and avoid the doughnuts. They are old and stale. With that one issue you may notice that this is still a 5 star review. That's how amazing the bagels (and employees) are!
While passing through Erie, PA today, I stumbled upon Jo’s Bagel on Shannon Road. Being from out of state, I was eager to try some local bagels with egg and cheese. I had the pleasure of meeting Robert, who warmly welcomed me and engaged in a conversation about Erie and the business. Bagels are always great. The veggie cream cheese I bought had mold in it and when I looked at the bottom of the container the expiration date was 3/22 while the day of purchase was 4/6.
