My friends and I were McCoys only customers for about 2 hours and when we came back later to dance some more they wouldn’t let us in because of my friends shorts. Driving away their customers and making new rules as the night goes. Shitty to be honest.

We left when they were playing country music soon after they opened...it wasn't our type of vibe we were going for or dressed for. The staff are friendly and the bartenders were as well.

me and my boyfriend are quite literally 21 and got denied. Hey, so that is crazy.

This is a good place to come if you're looking for a good time. The atmosphere is spectacular and its a safe place to be. 10/10 would visit if you are traveling.

Grate place to drink and have fun

Meh. Bartender gives full sized drinks selectively while others get small sized Dixie cups. 1 star. Also no soap dispenser in men’s restroom so not sure how anyone is washing their hands. Won’t be back.

Payed 5$ for cover asked the bouncer if I can go outside to vape said yes when I walked out to hit the vape was told I can’t come back in. When asked why they said I don’t know. So stole my money then discriminated me. Could have been racially motivated but no one knows not even them according to the guards. Would not recommend.

Got kicked out for tripping on my friend’s shoe. Absolute joke! Was a super crowded bar and no room to walk!

Unfortunately we may have visited McCoy’s on an off night because the vibes were just not there. This seems like a cool spot when it’s busy, but it was dead when we went. We were also told that there was a dress code, so I specifically wore jeans here to adhere to that, but there were people wearing sweatpants and slides so idk if the dress code is real or not. They did have a dart machine which was cool, but it was positioned in an awkward spot where we always felt in the way. Would love to give this place another chance but yeah it was an odd experience.

Not sure why place needs like 10 security. Favorite thing to do is kick people out for little to no reason.

Matt and his staff do a great job showing out of town guests, as well as locals a grrat time. Clean, good music. Parking was even easy. I highly recommend!

This is basically the same run-down party club you’d find in any other small-mid sized city, except they’re prestigious enough to implement a dress code! If you get denied entrance for wearing sweatpants/joggers at this distinguished, upscale, 5-star club in the prestigious Erie, PA, I suggest heading to BigBar located a block away… or really any other bar in Erie.Lastly, the owner’s rude, immature, and snide responses to negative reviews (said response will likely follow this review), easily serves as a testament to the overall quality and service of this establishment.
