The Brewerie at Union Station is a classic spot in Erie - what more can you want? Great location, historic train station, a classic atmosphere, and decent food and the BEST service you’ll get east of the Mississippi!
Well… I’ll tell you what more I want. I want some good beer. Now, I’m not saying the beer itself is bad (it has gotten a little worse since last year), but man, it has that skunky taste that’s indicative of dirty tap lines! When one of the new beers was first put on, it was fantastic! But now it tastes… kinda bad. Not very becoming of Erie’s “original brew pub.”
These issues are very fixable, and I sincerely hope the Brewerie fixes them! But for now, I’ll be sticking to Lavery Brewing Co.
The Brewerie at Union Station is a class act all around. Great food, beer and staff. I'd recommend it on your beer tour through Erie. Get the flash fried Brussels sprouts!
The atmosphere is uniquely cool. It's worth checking out if you're in town.
The booths are great if you can get one. Cool Koehler advert section towards the entrance.
Beer is good. Food is fine, but go mostly for the beer and atmosphere and you'll have a good time. Even the bathrooms are cool.
Parking is metered parking through quarters or an app (check to see what time you're parking, as it's free at certain times in the evening / Sunday I think).
Use the entrance on the right for the entrance and follow the signs. They have lots of events. It's a big place, so sometimes certain sections are fully blocked off, but usually one is available.
The previous Union Train Station in Erie, PA has been tastefully converted to a brewery and restaurant. They kept the charm of the building which can be verified by old pictures scattered around the walls. The Braised Pulled Pork Sandwich is moist and delicious. They serve an “Apparition Ale” - very good BTW. Story goes a dad swung his luggage around to check on his daughter behind him and the little girl was knocked down stairs and died. She supposedly shows up occasionally. There are numerous tunnels under the station that were used to move luggage and such I was told. You can pay to tour them infrequently in haunted tour.
I haven't been to The Brewerie in years, but selected it for a quick dinner before a show tonight. Service was quick and helpful! The steak salad was delish and the fries were hot and fresh. Definitely recommend.
Good beer, good food, fun St. Patrick's Day entertainment.
Great ruebin sandwich
Great food and awesome atmosphere. Draft drinks taste amazing
Excellent service and delicious food!
Loved the atmosphere and beer!!! The food is good, not great, so I'll give a 4 star due to that.

A really fun space in downtown Erie that is inviting and definitely worth a stop for a drink and a bite to eat.
First off, I always get the brussel sprouts. They are well prepared and are covered in garlic oil and parmesan cheese. So good.
The Hopness Monster is my go to beer here and it is solid and consistent.
Overall, this is a must stop in Erie. The old school train station vibe indoors and getting to sit next to an active train line during the pleasant season is an added bonus.
Great place to grab a beer. Fantastic service from Erin, very friendly and knowledgeable, made my wife and I feel welcomed as we were passing through town.
Amazing atmosphere and service! Fried Pickles are THE BEST!!! The table had 5 orders of them!!!
Everyone I went with loved the food, I had the raspberry chicken and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend it!
