The food is quite good, but not superior enough to other Indian restaurants to justify their excessively high prices.Also, watch out for sly upselling. Asked if we wanted water, we said yes, not realizing it would be bottled water at $4 each. Asked if we wanted chutney with our dish, I assumed it came with the dish and was surprised to see a charge of $10 on our bill for it. I don’t mind paying for extras that I freely choose, but there was a distinct lack of transparency and it didn’t feel good.It’s unfortunate, because if the prices were a bit more reasonable we would go a lot more often, especially now that I know to specify tap water and say no to everything else I am asked.
