We were warned when we ordered that the kitchen was backed up (even though the restaurant was only half full), but even waving down our waiter to order a second drink took a while. Only come here if you're not in a rush.

Cute and cozy restaurant convenient to the ski resort. However, the service was extremely slow (supposedly 5 new people in the kitchen). They were not very busy with less than 10 tables of people. Even a refill for waters took forever. The food was overpriced for the portion size and overall not seasoned very well. The menu did not have a good variety of choices. I would not recommend this restaurant. For a much better dining experience I would recommend Taverna 5450 at the end of the road as their service, variety, and quality of food is much better for less than the price of this restaurant. Also - beware gratuity is automatically added for parties of 6 or more.

Food was terrible and very much overpriced!! Service ok. I was trying to pay with cash but they only except credit cards. That should be stated on the menu. Last they pack your take home food in a cardboard container. That doesn't work, It gets wet.

My golf group (15 men) was at Carroll Valley Ski Liberty 9/14-9/26. On Sunday & Sunday we all ate dinner at Eagle and the Owl restaurant. I had Salmon entree on Sunday and Steak the next night. Both meals were very good and all the group members voiced similar views. I would like to give a shoutout to our server Berenice! She was one of the best I have experienced over the past years of coming here. She really cares about your satisfaction and handled any and all requests, and made my group’s end of day meal very enjoyable. Hope management will pass on our feedback.

We arrived. Difficult to find the entrance of the restaurant instead of the cafeteria of the lodge. "See the bartender to have a seat". We waited, the two of us, in front of the bar to be seated. A young lady came out and attended another customer to pay. Not even a glance saying I'll be with you soon. We felt unwelcomed and not attended at all.

Delicious food. We had the prime rib special which was very flavorful. Fish and chips was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. Fries were crispy and delicious. My wife had the meatloaf which was very good, the onions give it extra crunch. Food was excellent. We got the clam dip for an appetizer.
Cool atmosphere and really good food. We had the prime rib special and the open face meatloaf (hold the bun) followed with the brownie sundae and everything was great. They even asked how done we wanted the prime rib. The best part was the crab dip appetizer. We may go back again as there was so much on this menu we wanted to try.

Our waitress was the nicest person I’ve ever met and very attentive. The burger was also cooked the way I asked and delicious. We went back before we left town because we had such a nice experience. I’m not sure why this place isn’t more crowded.
Don't accept cash as payment. Host had an attitude. Stuffy atmosphere. Not friendly. We left. Never going back.

When on a golf package that included breakfast and dinner. Dinner included an appetizers entre and desert. Our appetizers was a family ste bowl of Mac & cheese with shredded beef, BBQ sauce and onion straws. Was basically uneditable. Amazing after dropping the cost for a golf package you codn't even select your own appetizers. Staff tried but were overwhelmed

After almost a 2 hour wait I got a cold raw steak and then waited another 30 minutes for a ice cream sunday that never came out... The people who work here are great and always nice I do have to say that. The management has gone seriously down hill drastically since the resort has been bought out. Been coming here every for 30+ years and the food is the worst I have ever seen and tasted. Very disappointed

The people who work here are great and always nice I do have to say that. The management has gone seriously down hill drastically since the resort has been bought out. Been coming here every for 30+ years and the food is the worst I have ever seen and tasted. Very disappointed
