The food was hot and fresh and there was a lot of it. My daughter and I could only eat half of it but that's okay because we'll be able to enjoy the rest later for a second time.
I went here for a late breakfast with my friend. We both got the Philadelphia Cheesesteak, with fries, waters, I got a Pepsi and he had a hot chocolate.The cheesesteak here is one of the best I've ever had, outside of Philly. The meat was fully cooked but not dry, the bread was perfectly toasted and didn't cut my mouth up, and the cheese was melted through the whole sandwich. The food and people have remained great at Taverna, but this spot just underwent some extensive renovations. It used to have that small-town ski-lodge dive bar feel, which is REALLY awesome. Now it feels a bit mute while they still undergo more design renos. But the food and people that work there are still the same and haven't sufferer any. So we will continue to frequent this spot!
