Every Chinese restaurant i ate at I always find the fried rice to lack flavor or the rice was just either hard or mushy but this place imo was just right. The lo mein was excellent as well. Wish this place was in North Carolina where I live. Ate here 3 times in the week I stayed out here in Philly.“

“Hello China wok, I am the guy who orders the, General Tso's ☯️ Chicken 🐔 with no rice regularly. I decided to try your location because, my wife and I wash clothes in that location. I am a student of Martial Arts for many years and a Trenton firefighter, so I have a lot of respect for the Chinese people and the food. I had to see how well the food and business were in that location. Honestly, the cleanest Chinese Restaurant in the Area that I know of, Bathroom, Service and food 😋. Well done. “I ordered General Tso's combination platter, Boneless Spare Ribs and Vegetable Lo Mein. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The lady on the phone was helpful when I ordered and clarified each item. I was there at 8:30 pm, the parking lot was pretty dark and most stores were closed on the strip mall where the store is located. There's a laundry mat and seafood restaurant on opposite sides on Mr China. Cars park along the sidewalk in the front of the stores to pick up their orders. Be careful pulling in and out. After I parked I witnessed a car pulling in as a mini van was pulling away from the curb, they b nearly collided.Parking lot hijinks aside, I recommend the food at this restaurant.“

“The food is clean and has flavor but most of the time it gets too you 10-20 minutes earlier than when they tell you and your veggies are not cooked all the way through. As you eat you are crunching away on all the veggies. You need to take the time and cook everything and not worry about the time it gets to the person that orders. All in all a nice/clean spot.“

“Ordered takeout for dinner. The General Tso’s tofu was amazing, the crab rangoon were generously stuffed and they, along with the egg rolls, were fried perfectly. No greasy mess. The only disappointing part is that we didn’t get fortune cookies! Almost deducted a star for that one, but everything is very reasonably priced so I let it slide ;)

“Best location especially just outside of Six Flags. This location is super convenient and the quality of food is on par if not better than other locations like the mall. It’s a standalone restaurant and the value and options are great. It’s always fresh and plenty of room to enjoy your meal. But if you notice the dishes they prepare aren't Chinese food it's American food just cook their way and the texture is great. The chicken is crispy and the beef fried rice is good as well I also love the shrimp and broccoli ?? general tso chicken with yellow fried rice. the ribs isn't up to my standard .really haven try any other dishes yet but next order I'll try the egg foo young . “After our go-to place sold to new owners during covid, we had been struggling trying to find a Chinese spot that actually had good food....then we found Joyful Garden. We have ordered more items than we normally do just to try out different things amd everything has been excellent. The only thing that wasn't a hit with my husband was the honey wings....he didn't care for the sauce on the wings and texture of the wings. Otherwise this place has great food, at great prices. You have to try it out!“

“I got the barbecue ribs and the flavor is great, I'm not a big fan of peas in my fried rice but their fried rice is okay. The soup looks really good, and they gave me the crispy wonton noodles. They also let me swap my egg roll for a spring roll which I prefer so that was really nice. The people that work in that shop are super nice and very helpful. I found out that they do actually deliver within a 5 mi radius. I think it'll be easier for me to order delivery next time parking was a bit of a pain.“

“I have been ordering from China Garden since I was a resident nearby in 2017 and I still order from them after moving to another part of Trenton in 2019. Food is good. Service is fairly quick. Arrives hot when delivered. Good place. There’s another Chinese restaurant a block away but I like China Garden much more.“

“This is the only place that reminds me of the Chinese food from up north. I’ve tried a few places, and this place resonates and tastes somewhat like the food I am used to ordering from Perth Amboy. The only complaint is they serve a smaller portion than what I am used to getting and a lil more expensive. Otherwise, fresh food and never had a problem. “This place was absolutely fantastic. Firstly, it's in a mall, which is always great. The mall is a fun place to be. The servers were friendly, charming, and attentative. The food was superb. I had the bourbon chicken with white rice, an egg roll, and the Cajun potatoes. I freaking loved it. It was not the most tender bourbon chicken that I've ever had, but it was still very yummy. Overall, it was some pretty stellar grub from this place. 8/10 would recommend.

Parking: The parking lot is the mall parking lot. Absolutely huge amount of parking. The walk to Choa Cajun from the main entrance is only about 5 minutes and 2 if you're running.“

“I order from Happy Star Restaurant every now and again. The food is pretty good. I never had any issues with my orders or mis-understandings unlike some of the other local places. What I like the most is their consistency with food and quality. Portions are decent size too.

“We have our usual Chinese place, but we thought we'd give this one a try because it was conveniently on our way home from a service. I ordered the sezchuan tofu. My husband got vegetable chow mein and we also got a side of vegetable fried rice. The sezchuan tofu was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. It wasn't too spicy to eat but had enough kick to make my sinuses clear. The fried rice was too sticky and didn't seem fried. It was lacking in seasoning and flavor but the vegetables in it were big and chunky. My husband's chow mein looked great but lacked sauce. It was all fresh. I'll def be back for the tofu dish.
