Nice ice cream break spot

We love this little gem! The staff is friendly. Subs are fresh and delicious! One will easily feed 2 people. My husband loves all the desserts they offer. The hand dipped ice cream is the Hershey’s brand, which is my favorite. You won’t be disappointed.

Can’t recommend for milkshakes. Went for one and it was more like melted, thin ice cream. It was obvious that it was more milk than ice cream. I lifted the straw out of the cup and the “milkshake” ran off of it like plain milk. I took it back inside because I thought maybe they didn’t know and could remake it. The young girl working was at the counter but totally ignored me. She turned away from me and went to the other worker and started whispering, which was very awkward in the small place. The other worker asked me if I needed something and I very patiently explained the issue. Her response was that that was how they make their milkshakes. I showed her how it ran off the straw like milk and not ice cream and she just said that’s how they do it. I have had a cone of ice cream there before and it was fine, but I haven’t had anything other than these two items. Other things might be good but this was my experience with their milkshakes.

Pleasant experience with delicious ice cream

Cozy retro beach vibe ice cream shop with unique desserts and delicious sandwiches and wraps. Great portions for the price. The baklava cheesecake is amazing, must try!

Always a pleasure to stop by summer house ice cream! The service is quick and good prices for the amount of ice cream you get. I would recommend to try the toffee crunch ice cream, so good! 😋

Great food and ice cream, plus pastries! Wonderfully friendly and efficient staff! I ordered a Tuscan sub and it was gigantic and delicious. I had to bring half of it home. I also brought the baklava to go and blueberry cheesecake ice cream. Great value for the money. Located off Route 30 in Fayetteville it's a little out of the way, but then aren't most of these gems? Their menu is extensive and they were very busy on a weekday. The parking lot is large and there are tables inside and out.

Amazing sandwiches, especially for the price. Hands down an awesome deal. The staff was very nice and upbeat. Will definitely be going back again. This time for subs and ice cream.

Tried cappuccino crunch, yummy! 2 scoops in a bowl is a small, plenty! Homemade baklava is fabulous. Hurry, they close in September.

Always happy with the serving sizes. My wife and I usually split a sub, because that's enough, and take some ice cream to go. We've known the owner for more than 20 years and always been pleased with her food preparation and services. Roast beef piled nice on a fresh roll, and the potato salad had a good flavor. We need to visit more often!
