The Buck Hotel Reviews
Enjoyed brunch in the air conditioned front porch to celebrate a friend's birthday. The group enjoyed their entrees. Diane, our server, was great. She was knowledgeable on the menu and accommodated our requests, & she had persevered with a foot injury that day. She made it through her entire shift. Thanks, Diane!

The Buck Hotel offers excellent service and great food. Known for their buck a shuck clams and oysters, the shucker might need a bit more practice. The burgers are simply amazing, and the shrimp tacos are a must-try. Whether for a special occasion like Mother's Day Brunch, a regular dinner, or a wedding, the food is always very good. The friendly staff makes every visit enjoyable, encouraging guests to return.
The buck a shuck oysters are perfectly sized and served with vinegar, lemon, and cocktail sauce. The dirty shrimp and cajun shrimp are delicious, and the pepper jam is incredible. The filet mignon is cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the brussel sprouts are cooked just right. For dessert, the chocolate cake exceeds expectations, and the peanut butter chai espresso martini is a perfect dessert cocktail.
The Buck Hotel is also a stunning venue for weddings, with attention to detail and dedicated staff ensuring everything runs smoothly. The enclosed patio is ideal for celebrations, and the service remains outstanding. Guests can enjoy bread service with pepper jam, though the drawn butter comes in foil-wrapped packets. The cream sauce and sausage are excellent, and the top neck clams are good for those who prefer larger clams.
Recent reviews highlight the excellent service at the take-out market, where staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, encouraging loyal customers. The venue’s staff was also praised for their kindness and professionalism during a wedding celebration, with some comments about how meat like filet mignon can be cooked differently depending on personal preference. The salmon received high praise, and the staff was accommodating, trying to meet specific requests.
With delicious drinks, great food, and exceptional service, The Buck Hotel is a place guests look forward to returning to for any occasion.
