“Al's cone zone is the best! Their quality is great. The banana ice cream has actual bananas not just banana flavoring. Same with the strawberry ice cream and so on. I opt for the strawberry banana milkshake. Its soon good. Definitely a stand out ice cream spot from other places. That's why you always see a lot of people in the parking lot and in line. The lines go by quick tho!”

“we just moved to the area and have tried a few local pizza places...they've all sucked! 1. we got so SICK after eating it. 2. the pizza was okay, but the calzone was raw...like more raw dough than cheese!!! 3. just tasted like cardboard. 4. over priced but not atrocious. well tonight I REALLY REALLY wanted good pizza! I contemplated driving an hour and a half to get a pizza from a place that I KNOW is safe! I stead I took the chance with Pasquales. seriously the best pizza I've had in the LONGEST TIME. it was so fast, I honestly expected it to be horrible. but it was delicious! I usually can barely crush 2 pieces...I ate 6.. I do feel sick but that's just because I ate way too much!! the sauce has flavor, it's well seasoned. the crust is buttery and delicious. you can actually TASTE the garlic! they don't skimp on seasoning which is so nice! this is our new go to for pizza!!!”

A few times, a gentleman who I assume is the owner, brings us a little plate of crab and mango “on the house.” Sushi scraps they don’t want to go to waste I imagine? Regardless, it’s a sweet gesture! “Needle & Bean is my home away from home in the South Hills. Every barista is so welcoming and people I look forward to being served by and also getting music recommendations from. Mike, the owner, is always great for a music convo, plus his taste in music is impeccable. Not only that but it's one of the only coffee shops in the South Hills with free parking! This isn't even mentioning their 3rd wave coffee and superb vinyl offerings and growing event calendar. I cannot recommend N&B enough.”
