“Food was really good. Had leftovers for two more days and it was still as good. Had the short ribs and Mac and cheese. Excellent. Wife had same thing except I got lobster Mac. Both dishes were very good. Service was slow and the meals took over 30 mins to get to us on a day that was far from busy. The inside looks like they are either doing some renovations or just fixing stuff here and there. Either way, the work was a bit of an ambiance killer. Will go again for the food. But it will be last time if service is the same.“

“Y'all, we went to Sunrise Mount Penn Deli (on Carsonia, where Jake's used to be) for lunch today, and I have got to say, we had the best chicken cheese steak and fries ever, their smoothies are made with the freshest fruit and veg and taste like a dream (we tried banana, mango, pineapple), and their ice cream (especially the coffee) is to die for. Everyone who works there is so friendly and happy, singing along with Sylas and getting to know us all. Hugs and smiles and just happiness all around in that place. We can't wait to go back!“

Today was my first time experiencing Brooklyn Place and I must say that I am very pleased.
Went in thinking it was just a Cafe and I wanted to support a local Cafe in my area of Reading, to my surprise it is a full restaurant.
The staff is very polite and go above and beyond for their customers. Nice quiet place, comfortable atmosphere and plenty of parking in this shopping center.

My order was a large iced coffee, a veggie omelette with home fries, rye toast and a side of sausage. Total cost was $18 and some change.

Iced coffee: Best I have ever had. I have previously worked in cafes and Starbucks, also I am a coffee fiend, and try new places often. In my 37 years on this planet, I have never had an iced coffee this good. Just with cream and sugar.
Veggie Omelette: Delicious, but a tad bit on the greasy side. Very fair with the ingredients/fillings, without being too dense, still fluffy.
Home Fries: Soft, golden brown, seasoned cubes of joy. Very good. Personally I would like them fried just a little longer to give them a light crunch.
Rye Toast and Sausage: Bagged Rye sandwich bread, not seeded. Basic, but honestly we don't need some fancy bread or anything like that. A thumbs up for the toast and sausage links.

Definitely will be coming back and bringing family. They got themselves a new recurring customer.“

Dark and gloppy(it’s probably fine - just unappetizing looking as it’s dropping into my tea). If server says “sorry we don’t have honey”and I end up using sugar - it’s not a big deal…and I would have just stopped writing after my compliment lol. I do love your place. It’s cozy.“

“We ordered the catering and bar package from K’Town Pub for our wedding, and we were beyond impressed with the entire team! From the start, we knew we wanted our wedding dinner to be from them - it’s one of our favorite spots and very special in our hearts, and they absolutely delivered!! The BBQ pulled chicken and pork were a huge hit with our guests, and the mac & cheese (our personal favorite dish) was as incredible as ever. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly served. Our favorite bartender, Jen, worked that night, and she, along with the entire bar team, were fantastic. The entire staff working were friendly, professional, and kept everything running smoothly all evening. It truly made the night feel extra special having familiar faces there celebrating with us. Each of whom, it would seem, come from different worlds and life experiences. All of whom are going places, be it in academic education, hospitality, entrepreneurship, or perhaps being the best at building a conventional life with style, love of life, family, and humanity in the aggregate. Dare I say it, the last of a dying breed.I've met some of the most fun and prolific characters at 24 who've made me feel at home in Pennsylvania, although I am from afar, i.e. Philly . The kind of folks who go out of their way to say hello as they make their way to the bar.Sometimes, after work, feeling a bit peckish, I will peruse the menu and discover some great interpretations of salads (Caesar) and snacks (Truffle fries) that hit the spot and keep me busy enjoying one of my favorite past times: eating. And from what I've seen at various and sundry tables at various times through the course of any given evening, this kitchen delivers hearty inspired entrees sure to give you reason to give positive word of mouth with regard to culinary talent. “We go to Crossroads regular since it is close to work. We'll after lunch today, NEVER AGAIN. We were scolded by our waitress. We ordered a burger and fries and added the 3.99 charge for a salad. I ordered a crock of soup for 5.99 and ate my husbands salad. She pointed at us and said that is a big No,No,No. Then intern charged us for the salad bar of 10.99 and the extra fee to add to his meal of 3.99. When went up to pay they said we shared. My husband did not eat a salad I ate it instead of him. We paid for it so who cares who eats it, it was paid for. Argued to remove the side salad. What a going on. They kept saying we Shared why we did not we ate 1 salad and no soup from the salad bar, I paid extra for a different soup. We said we won't ever come back they said thats fine-bye. Instead of beginning polite the male in charge was rude. To pay 40.00 for lunch we don't need to go back to be treated like a 5 year old. We will take our business somewhere else on Route 61.“

“This is my first time dining in this establishment. Indoors has pretty limiting seating but DO NOT let that stop you from coming. Cheap and delicious true diner food. The grilled cheese is gooey and delicious. The fries are regular delicious fries. The fried pickles are one of the best I’ve ever had. A appetizer and meal only costed 15 dollars in total. LOVE THIS!
