“We had the ribs, hot roast beef sandwich, spicy pickle chips, and Bavarian pretzels. The spicy pickle chips were outstanding, a little spicy, light breading, and the pickles the right thickness to match the breading. They’re a nice bite. The roast beef melts in your mouth it’s so tender, gravy has a nice beef flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed. They had a nice outdoor seating area but we sat inside.“

“I picked this place for something different, we normally go to steak hose for birthdays. I'm so glad I did, our server, Riah and bartender Aaron were fantastic. we had so much fun playing slings, will be back for sure.“

“The food was amazing as always but our waitress was terrible. we had to wait 15 minutes just for our beverages, had to wave down another waitress to let her know. at the end of our dining, the girl we had to wave down, got a better tip than our original waitress.“

The food is consistently great, the drinks are delicious, and the whole place just feels comfortable and easy. Deer Lake Pub is hands down my favorite restaurant in all of Schuylkill County.“

The coffee isnt the best coffee of all time but it is good enough to drink. I think that would be the only complaint if I had any at all, but it did not ruin the experience at all!“
