“Drove past many times, finally made a reservation and I'm sorry I waited so long. If you enjoy a different menu selection, not the usual and ordinary, I highly recommend. The food was simply excellent, service stellar, and atmosphere perfect. We tried brushetta, brie, bisque, and potstickers. We all agreed that everything was cooked to prefection and the presentation impeccable. Entrees were shrimp stir fry, Mediterranean shrimp, and blackened chicken. Again, cooked perfectly and beautiful presentation but let me say, the shrimp were some of the best I've ever had, quality ingredients and a love for good food are a prioirty here and quite obvious from the preparation to presentation.“
“A hole in the wall restaurant but let me tell you! This is one of our FAVORITE breakfasts we have enjoyed in 2024 thus far. Its very small town charm meets GREAT food that is easy on the pocket book and satisfying. Our server (Debby) was such a hoot - she immediately knew every face in the place and made it a point to learn about us out-of-towners too.The bacon, pancakes, smoked sausage + omelets (bacon omelet + spinach and cheese) is what we ordered. Though the coffee was also nice and strong - not watered down by any means!Wish we were staying through Monday to get breakfast here one more time!“

“Really good food and service. Got the southwest Chicken Cheese steak. The fries are great. I know it gets very busy on weekends so we went on a Thursday night. Prices are very fair. If you like having a variety of drinks, they have many moonshine combinations or straight up moonshine.“
“Enjoyed a meal here. I had called and made reservations and everything seemed unorganized. I spoke with several different people and finally one guy said he had me down. We arrived a few minutes early, walked in, and the waitress at the entrance seemed like she couldn't find our reservation anywhere. She scrambled and got us a table though. We waited quite a while before finally a waitress helped us. The rest of the time was great and food was very good.“
“While house hunting in the area, we came across the Uptown Tavern and decided to pop in for some eats. It was a cozy place with a very mouth watering menu. The burgers we got were great, but the cheddar cheese jalapeño poppers were the best I've ever had to date (no exaggeration!). The owners were really down to earth people that were so cool to talk to. I'd love to go back some time, and if you're in the area, I highly recommend it!“
“Sometimes the most dive looking diners have the greatest service with the nicest people and the most delicious food. That is just what my husband and I experienced. No racism whatsoever we are we are a mixed couple in an area where there are not a lot of different cultures. In this diner we had no concerns with any problems of that which was a breath of fresh air. People were so nice and food was delicious and it's not the most updated place but it's clean and that's really what matters. Thank you Long Rn Diner we will go back!!“
“My husband and I came to The Coldstream Kitchen located in the Second Mountain Rod and Gun Club unexpectedly. The ambiance is a traditional social club vibe with extremely nice members (you can go to the restaurant without being a member of the club).Maddox and Robin provided very prompt and extremely friendly service. They reviewed all the specials and made great recommendations.Since it was lent, we got Haddock with Mac and Cheese and the Crab Cake Sandwich. Both were extremely delicious! We shared dessert which was hands down one of the best local desserts we have ever had!!! The prices are very affordable and we will be returning, very soon.“
