“Great appetizer selection got the elote which was excellent and the Thai ribs very good. French onion soup was very tasty lots of cheese on top. Crab cakes were very nice a little bready but still tasted good. Prime rib was out so bourbon ribeye was chosen but was too saucy for our taste. Great view would be outstanding in the fall. Excellent waitress had our needs served very well. Very good dry martini. Good wine selection other than the well. Will be back.“

“Cool little old school bar. Cheap drinks. Never ate the food but it looks good. Decent pool table. Bartenders and clientele are friendly. Smoking is permitted which is a big plus for me in the winter especially.“

“Went to Millie's Kitchen at the Uptown Tavern last night, 11/16/2020. It is a "Hole in the Wall) type place. Very casual place: plastic utensils, paper towels for napkins, etc. The food was excellent. The portions were huge. Many items to choose from. The bar keep was very engaging. I had the mini tacos as an appetizer with the boneless chicken wings w/sweet bar-b-que sauce and a chocolate martini. I'm still eating the wings today. Frank had the beef cheese steak sandwich w/hot sauce and he loved the taste and texture of the meat. we will be going back again SOON“

“My family and I were looking for somewhere to eat dinner tonight and walked into The Little Brown Barrel. The food was amazing, we had ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac and Cheese, the French dip, sliders, and Skook steak. We will make a point of coming back when we are in town, and to recommend it to others as well.“

“Came here for the first time and would definitely come back. Food and service was excellent! We got the cheesesteak egg rolls, the clams, and wings! We had two different mules, the Irish and peach and we had the lava cake for dessert. Our server was fantastic! The tavern vibes were spot on!Definitely recommend coming in and trying it out!“

“This place is a gem! After driving by it a number of times, always saying we should stop one day, today was the day. And it didn't disappoint. They were very busy but fit us in at a small table in the bar area. Not too noisy and we were served pretty quickly. Food was spot on, had one of the best crab cake sandwiches I ever had. My wife had lobster Mac and cheese. Huge portion and very good. We also had smoked trout and salmon apps plus lobster Bisque. Delicious. We live a hour away but can't wait to stop again!“
“The birthday brunch was first rate. Food presentation was beautifully displayed and everything was delicious. Seafood tower was incredible and the cocktails were creative and quite tasty! Joe and his staff were attentive and accommodating to anyone’s needs or requests. The Inn of Orwigsburg has a charming ambiance and the outdoor patio adds to the cozy environment.“

“We eat here frequently, both dine-in and takeout. We especially like breakfast. Most of the food is pretty good and decent prices. Occasionally disappointed with something but never enough to stop coming back. The hashbrowns are THE BEST when cooked right LOL. There is a kids menu but no placemat or crayons, FYI.“

“My go-to breakfast spot, when it’s not so packed & busy!! I’ve lived in Berks County for 3-4 years now, and have never been disappointed.
Their staff is friendly and welcoming, and whoever the cooks are in the back, are doing their thing!!!! I can’t wait to try lunch/dinner one day, I’m sure that’s amazing too. But for breakfast…pshh. Best place I’ve found so far, since moving from the Lehigh area.“

“Went in for date night and it was phenomenal. Quirky place with a great vibey atmosphere.
Hand-made cocktail (hand middles lavender and berries), fresh salad, fresh baked bread.
Had the seafood diavola and chicken parm and the parm was one of the best I've ever tasted. The breading was phenomenal.
Seafood was loaded with different seafood, simple delicious sauce.
Amazing all around.“
